INTERNET DISCONNECTED DURING A TRANSACTION

Sir/Madam.
I was booking 3 tickets from Chennai Egmore(MS) to Kumbakonam(KMU) on 28th April night, 2012. Unfortunately, during the transaction, my internet connection was disconnected automatically for some technical reasons. The amount 1259 was deduced from my account and i did not received the ticket. IRCTC website is failing to load and not able to book tickets

This is happening every time when trying to book tickets through irctc website. The page always shows Service not available and is not being useful when required... We are Unable to book even tatkal tickets because by the time the page gets loaded the tickets status is reached to Waiting List. This is happening every time while trying to book the ticket.

What is the use of such website which is failing to provide proper access to the online booking users to book the tickets. Is it only useful to book the tickets 2 or 3 months prior to get a confirmed ticket???? This is the same issue since more than 2 years and becoming worse day by day.

Are any necessary steps taken to balance the load on server or no action is taken?

Indian Government not capable of using better servers for IRCTC

Hi,

This is to bring to the notice that IRCTC site is worst site and it should be taken care of.
Yesterday I was trying to book a ticket fron delhi to agra in intercity express. The transaction was failed, after that I tried to book another tatkal ticket from delhi to agra in GT Express, with no exception I received the same old pathetic message " Sorry communication failure". Since it was pretty urgent for me to reach agra, I again tried for tatkal and finally the ticket was booked.

What next !!!!!!

When I was waiting for the train at station after 3 hrs of booking, I recieved the message that my intercity ticket has
been booked not only intercity, when I reached agra, a message was sent to my phone which said that my GT tatkal ticket are also booked.

Since I had many options provided by IRCTC, I chose to travel in Intercity but my 215+215 = 510 rupees are wasted.
I want my money back. If anybody is reading this,You just have 2 days time otherwise I know my rights.

The total fare of Rs.223 has been deducted form my bank account, nut no ticket was shown in booked history. Payment is deducted form my bank. Mobile Number Country Code is incorrect

When I tried booking a ticket, the site says my profile is incomplete and that I have to update it. In the mobile number field, there's a default country code of +91 (India) but my country code is +63 (Philippines). I tried changing the country field but to no effect.

It seems that I cannot change the default +91. I entered my mobile number anyhow and as expected, I did not get a mobile verification number. Now, I cannot even log in because it asks for the mobile verification number before I can proceed. I hope there's a better way of implementing a verification scheme.

Same Problem

Yes, I got same problem. I am from Malaysia but the mobile phone country only for India. Last time, I am able to book from IRCT without any problem. But now, instead of improving the website create more inconvenience to book the train from outside India. The worst part, it just deactivate the account, once we put wrong info just because we dont have indian mobile number.

I booked the ticket at around 2:19pm for haldwani from delhi..Money got deducted(Rs 450) but ticked was not booked.
I used citibank credit card.
Second time the transaction was successful at 4:10 pm.

Call the AXIS bank customer care about the payment.. and call irctc to enquire wheather they got the payment or not?

You can tract ur failed transactions in irctc website.. The deducted amount will automatically refunded in your account within 7days..

Same situation happened once to me... i received the payment in 7days
