I am writing to report a deeply concerning experience I had with one of your drivers in Ahmedabad. I had booked a ride, and after the driver accepted and confirmed the trip, he contacted me to ask about the destination and the fare. This was confusing and frustrating, as the fare and destination were already displayed in the app.
The driver then insisted that I cancel the ride. I did not want to cancel the trip as I needed to get to my destination and had already committed to the fare shown in the app. It's completely unfair for a driver to accept a ride and then ask the customer to cancel it, especially after confirming the pick-up.
Because of this, I was late and ultimately had to find an alternative way to reach my destination, using public transport. This completely defeated the purpose of booking a Rapido ride and left me feeling incredibly let down. The fact that your driver was also attempting to get me to pay an extra amount on top of the fare shown in the app is unacceptable.
I trusted Rapido to provide reliable and transparent service, but this experience was the opposite of that. I kindly request you to look into this matter immediately and take appropriate action against the driver. I have the details of the cancelled trip in my app. Please find a solution to this issue to prevent it from happening to other customers.

I am filing a serious complaint regarding a distressing and unlawful incident that occurred during my Rapido ride on 28th August 2025.

Drop Location: My office (as per ride booking)
After reaching the drop location, the Captain threatened me, claiming he was a local candidate of the area. He showed me arms and forced me to pay Rs. 5000/- under threat. Not only this, but he also stole my wallet and fled the spot on his bike.
This is a matter of criminal intimidation, extortion, and theft, and poses a grave risk to passenger safety using Rapido’s platform.
I request the Rapido authority to:
Immediately investigate this incident with urgency.
Suspend and blacklist the concerned Captain permanently.
Return my stolen wallet and Rs. 5000/- at the earliest.

Charged for the toll when the toll route was not taken
I took a cab from noida to faridabad on 22 August,2025. The total price charged was 642 including 200 for the toll tax. But the driver took the other way that did not include the toll tax but he still charged me 642 only. I request the authority to look into this and the extra amount taken from me should be returned as this is a scar on a reputed company to charge extra from their customers.

I’ve noticed that every time I try to book a ride through the Rapido app, it shows a due amount, despite the fact that I’ve made payment for every ride without fail. There is absolutely no reason for any amount to be pending on my account.

I had a very bad experience in Rapido taxi. I took a taxi for ride and it show 636 from start to destiney. But the driver requisted to fill the gas and took extra km and the destination reached by travelling different route. For my bad luck the destination what I was selected was 5km away from the real droping point. The driver, Lokesh P, insisted on being paid in cash citing ongoing UPI issues in Karnataka. I agreed and handed him a ₹500 note for a fare of ₹316. Shockingly, he quietly switched the note to a ₹100 and accused me of giving the wrong amount. He began arguing and made emotional appeals, swearing on Anjaneya and his child, which made the situation even more uncomfortable.

I am lodging a serious complaint against one of your riders whose behavior was not only reckless and illegal but also highly disrespectful and dangerous.
During my recent ride, the rider:
Jumped multiple red signals
Drove in the wrong direction on a one-way road
Did not provide a helmet to me, the pillion rider
Argued arrogantly when I raised a genuine safety concern
At one point, he deliberately rode into oncoming traffic during a red signal. When I asked him why he was putting our lives at risk, he aggressively replied:
“What’s your problem? Why are you telling me how to drive? This is the right way.”
When I calmly told him I wasn’t in a hurry and preferred safe driving, he sarcastically responded:
“If you’re not in a hurry, what should I do? I have time and patience.”
This behavior is absolutely unprofessional, irresponsible, and unacceptable. It shows a complete disregard for passenger safety and traffic laws. If this rider continues to operate under your platform, it's only a matter of time before a serious accident occurs.
I demand that you take immediate disciplinary action against this rider and investigate this incident thoroughly. I also expect a formal acknowledgment and explanation from your side on what steps will be taken.

One of the rapido person whom I met around 1 year back,takes office parcel rides and charges double amount than rapido. When I refused him to pay the excess amount he started arguing and said what you want to do you do. He first meets new customers and talks with then regarding the rides. He never goes through rapido. Today (07-June-2025) I have booked Rapido at 10.30 to 10.45 as I was sick and I am with my family Mr.Mohan P (Vehicle no:TN12BE8995) accepted the request but when I call him he said he was stuck in hug traffic and he will be late by 15 min when I update the message in rapido chat box saying I am in location, immediately got call from rapido number and he said you cancel the trip and pay rs100 to running auto. The driver marked “Arrived” on the app despite being nowhere near the pickup point. After waiting for 5–6 minutes, he showed up — but instead of stopping at the correct location, he stopped on the opposite side of a busy, high-speed road, and refused to come to the actual pickup point, even when repeatedly asked.
This forced us to risk our safety and cross a dangerously busy road. I was traveling with my family and my friend’s family, which included three women and a one-month-old baby. The safety of our loved ones was compromised from the start.
When we finally reached the driver on the opposite side:
He immediately took the ride OTP and entered it into the app.
Only after entering the OTP in the mobile app, he demanded extra cash for the ride.
When we refused to pay the illegal demand, he became extremely aggressive, started shouting, hurling verbal abuse, and threatening me and my family, including the women present.
His behavior was erratic and violent, and it was clear he was under the influence of alcohol. What’s even more outrageous is that within 2–3 minutes of this confrontation — without even moving the vehicle an inch — he marked the trip as “Completed” in the app, effectively cheating the system and us.

Complaint about worst service in Coimbatore
Today, 6th May 2025, I have tried to book auto as well as auto+through rapido. I was waiting for long time. I Booked around 6 times. Each time the driver asked about the starting and ending points, and asked for extra 30 or 40 rupees. Is it not that when we book a ride, the starting and ending not visible to the drivers. And three of the drivers didn't even start from where they were. They were ready after bargaining with the customer, otherwise refused and cancelled the trip. It's literally worst experience happened today. Rapido, sorry to say, I'll discourage my friends and others to not to use rapido, if same is repeated again.

Paid Rs 1000 Extra (UPI + CASH)
I took a Rapido Cab ride from HSR Layout to Kempegowda International Airport Banglore on 17th April .
Before start of the ride , The driver asked for additional rs Hundred , to which I did agree a I was travelling with Family So to our agreement , I was supposed to pay Rs NINE Hundred for the ride.
Post reaching Airport , I initiated a UPI transaction of Rs NINE Hundred using GPay But The transaction went on to pending state.
Hence I paid by CASH Rs THOUSAND , for which the driver was supposed to return me Rupees Hundred in exchange as the total ride cost was Nine Hundres.
But the driver said he did NOT have any change , so he left with all the Money . During this period , The driver was very rude in his behavior , and was acting to NOT knowing HINDI.
Now , The UPI Transaction of Rs NINE Hundred which I initiated , was successfully completed and paid on 19th April .
So , in this way , I ended up paying Rs 1900 as a whole of the 17th April Ride.

I booked a ride 3 hours ago. The Driver did not turn up and nor did he cancel the ride. He still hasn't cancelled the ride. how do i book another ride on rapido. These drivers are doing that so often these days. The other day i got late at my workplace because of the same behaviour of one of your so called captains and was marked absent. The driver's name is Narendra singh Rajput. His cab is K10 Alto. RJ14 TF 6460. The app shows he is 40 minutes away as I have not cancelled the ride and will not do so. I would rather book on Ola or Uber then get harassed by some captain at Rapido

Rapido ride is really worst
Rapido ride is really worst service. Driver charged always extra money on every ride. Even if babies carry with you will consider as one member. And whatever charge shown to you is not matched with driver's application they are roaming like looters in society. If you are alone don't use rapido for girls especially.

Such bad service by rapido
I couriered a parcel and the rider asked me to pay the amount and I did after sometime I noticed that same amount was also deducted from my simpl account I have been typing to reach their customer service but they're not interested in replying and solving query also I tried to contact simpl they denied the refund I'm unable to attach file oj rapido to show them proof I have even sent them email but there's no response from their side

He extremely extremely rude from the start, telling us sit like this or not to sit like that. We were not even sitting in an uncomfortable way. Actually rude is a very small word for such worst person.
It was only me, a female passenger at the end to leave. And He passed a comment "Harkate to dekho apni" like what the f#ck was that. Does this person know me personally to pass such comments. I was so much polite to him at first.
Not just this he was rude with many things also.
I literally wanted to fight back but was alone and I was concerned about my safety who knows what could this person do.
This person was young but his mind was extremely extremely narrow. His way of talking extremely rude.
I want him to be banned by every cab company. I request rapido to ban him so that he cannot harras anyone anymore. Why keep such person associated with the company which can damage the company's reputation.
Driver demanded extra payment
For my travel on 28 Feb 2025 for a fare of Rs 257 driver demanded Rs 290, which i paid thru Gpay. I have raised complaint on your Rapido App and as a proof was asked to forward Gpay bill as screenshot as an attachment by clicking the clip icon. But the clip icon for attaching files does not work and also forwarded Gpay receipt thru the email which i was provided. But was annoyed that even the email messages does not work. All the mails sent is getting reverted back to me. Only way to prove is to send thru WhatsApp if I am provided with the same. Rapido should have Whatapp number thru which we could prove. I had fwded the sms sent thru my bank but still you insist only on Gpay receipt. Dont know how else to prove? So sad that you dont rely on customers who want to prove their innocence and by behaving so you are only encouraging your drivers to demand more from customers. You are only believing your drivers and making them more corrupt. Indirectly u are encouraging corruption in society.

The driver charge does extra money
The driver charge does extra money. As we reached a destination the driver asked for the toll money and we had no idea that toll is stopped now and no money is deducted.we realised when we returned back home.he also charged us extra fare to the fare shown in the app.
Trying to connect to customer service but the pathetic service is not resolving my issue.they say they will call back but they don't. We were supposed to pay 711rs. But the driver charged us 776rs.

Worst service
I book auto on 8th Feb in Hyderabad. After sitting in auto, he started demanding more money stating what was shown in app is less. I asked him to stop auto, but he didn't even stop, he told I will not stop and started arguing that I want money. I was with my mother. He drove very roughly and again after reaching destination when I gave money which is already more than what was shown in app. He demanded more than that also and started arguing. he didn't ask either so after covering half distance, he said cancel your booking. When I decline to cancel booking. He cancelled it from his side. I asked him to stop auto, but didn't even listen and also talking on phone most of the time , not driving auto properly. This is my first experience with rapido and extremely worst experience. I will not recommend this to anyone. Worst service.
Driver asking for more money
Today I was travelling from my work place to home. As soon as I got into auto the driver started complaining me that amount showing is really less. Please provide extra amount at the end of the trip. After he dropped me the total amount is 201 but he kept insisting me to pay extra 50. Please note this is for the 3rd time happening with me that these drivers keep asking to pay extra amount. One more thing,the auto drivers they accept the ride and they call and confirm saying that they are coming but after they drop from the call they just cancel the ride. Really horrible services you provide rapido
Driver Rude Behaviour and asking more money
Hi Team,
This is keep you inform that Rapido is now a days good service for a customer but some time Bad behavior driver like asking more and Extra money to the customer and incase if customer don't want to give the driver won't cancel it and ask us to cancel.. Not attending the phone incase if we ask them to cancel. This is so bad for the Rapido Service. I will mentioned the 2 drivers details please take actions as soon as possible. because they boldly told we have to cancel and don't care about the Rapido customers.

There was double payment of INR 180 made to your captain which you guys had refunded to my wallet but when I asked to tranfer the money to my source account. You guys had debited that amount from my wallet but it's been more than 10 days I have not received the money in my account.
Can you guys please reply and transfer that amount to my source account or i shoul choose social media to publish these things how you harass your customers.
