Request to add option to edit GENDER and AGE details

Dear Sir,Madam

I request you to add some feature in which the user can edit their details like age ,gender, name in the eticket without affecting the fare of the journey if possible.
If there is a reason for increase in fare due to gender you apply charges applicable and we will be glad to pay
There is no sense in cancelling and re booking ticket just because I entered Gender incorrectly

I hope Indian Railways takes this in positive spirit so as to provide better services to their customer.

very poor maintenance in doranto express

There are no vendors allowed in Doranto express which leaves chennai and goes to coimbatore and vice versa, the train is maintained very badly. no cleanliness, not cleaned, bad toilets, the quality of food is worst ever, they can instead not give anything, otherwise ensure you give good food, stale bread and bun, stale rice, very worst. finally the people who serve bring a trey in the last and ask for money I can say they are begging keeping a trey in the hand.

i had travelled by 19019 Dehradun express on 22.01.2012 from Bandra Terminus to Hazrat Nizamuddin in SL-5,having bearth no.49 & 50,PNR no.8364967435 and having an E-Ticket.I shown my PAN Card for my personal ID,but the TTE rejected the same and asked for ID with residential address, that is only a Voter ID card or ADHAR card. these ID were not with me at that time. and he fined me 1250/- more than my actual ticket charge that was 756.00.
Railway is entitle for one time payment for the same ditance same day.
so,I would like to request to REFUND my one time fare which is not applicable to me.

Forgot IRCTC password but not getting reset

I have logged in to IRCTC on dated 20-Jan-2012 before noon. When I tryed to login afternoon with the same username/password its getting error as Invalid username/password. After that i had gone through Forgot password link , I had given the answer also and i received the message your password could not reset. for Date Of Journey: 01-Oct-2011 in Class: 3A Resv Upto: (BSB) on Date Of Booking: 14-Aug-2011 with Total Fare: Rs 819.00, the Transation had failed and the ticket was not booked with a reason that the settlement had failed. But the amount was not reversed to my bank acount.

Failure in login

On25th, to verify my email id new password was given by irctc. I am a regular user for irctc for a long time. After getting new password, i could login and as a safe practice, i changed my password according to my choice. And after that, i could login and even book the tickets. But today, i am unable to login to irctc. SInce i am travelling by a few trains next week with my family and all my tickets are booked through irctc, login to irctc is a must as i may have to change my plans as and when required. I have an account in irctc and was getting a message that my email id is not verified, so yesterday I clicked on 'verify' and got a notification that my password has been reset and new password is sent to my registered email id. But I didn't receive any email there. Now when I am trying to login to the account with old password, showing invalid username/pwd.I had already reserved the tickets. Also I didn't take print out yet from the site as well. So please solve the issue ASAP. @others: please post if your issues are resolved and how are they resolved?

I have booked a ticket through irctc.co.in at 10:10 pm on 24th jan 2012 in Train Name Jammu tawi express, from Tatanagar to Jammu tawi with a date of journey 03/03/2012, with the name of three passengers, through ICICI Netbanking. The total fare of Rs 1300 has been deducted from my ICICIbank account, but no ticket was shown in booked history. Payment is deducted from my bank. So kindly credit the amount back in my account. The statement showing deduction of discription through: 0447347527.

I am shocked to see that my irctc login id is suddenly not opening, I sent reset request for new password but there is no response from IRCTC, I am to state that:

I have booked tickets for Journeys and I am not in a position to take printouts of tickets nor I know the PNR

Few tickets are to be cancelled.

My latest journey begins from 04-02-2012.

I sent mail but no reply.

I continuously tried to contact on helpline phone numbers of IRCTC but no body cares to lift the phone

my id was in use for the last many years.

I dont understand what to do.

My tickets in the id are worth Rs 15,000=00 to 20,000=00

This is sheer unprofessional attitude towards customers.

I have an account in irctc for 4-5 years. By mistake I had given my old company’s email id during time of registration .I was getting an message verify your emaild id and when I clicked on it I got the message “your password has been reset and sent to my email id”. As I already mentioned that my email id was registered incorrect so I can’t view my new password hence not able to login to irctc. I am continuously trying to reach the customer care number 011-39340000 ,01123344773 but no success till now.
