I wish to complain about Airtel

I am complaining because on 6th Feb 2024 it will be one month since I raised this issue. What you want your business to do?

When I first learned of this problem, I contacted at customer service at 121 of your company, and was told 24-48 hours will take to get my problem resolved. and this issue was closed without any intimation to me and without any resolution , and again I raised complaint through 121 three more times . All were closed without any resolution and response. Ask your customer team to just get lost. Such a worst service Airtel is having.

I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible to resolve this problem. If I do not hear from you within 2 days I will file complaints with the appropriate consumer agencies and consider my legal alternatives. I am enclosing copies of my receipt. Who will continue such products and services?

Deconsolidation of family plan not processed since 15 days

This is wrt deconsolidation (removal) of number xxxxxx3936 from family plan. Primary Number is xxxxxx1680
Despite repeated calls and requests a simple request hasnt been completed. All I recieve from senior executives in the customer service department is that I will recive a call back. I havent recived a single call. Every morning I call airtel, explain my issue all over again and recieve the same assurance and no resolution.
I emailed the appellate and nodal.office no revert from their end either.
The number I want to remove belongs to my father who is a blind and disabled senior citizen. I am processing the request on his behalf. Its a simple request but it feels like fighting a battle in court.
Its the worst customer service I have encountered.
I would like to know the reason for the request being pending and not yet processed. The airtel gallery (pincode 400080) also is unable to help. They simply ask me to call customer service. And customer service asks me to wait for a call...its like a game of tennis...
Please provide resolution so that it makes things easy for a disabled man.

Internet is down since last 4 days

Nobody is helping to resolve broadband internet issues. Got 4 days loss of pay. It's being so worst

false bill generated complaints 15+ times with no response

I don't know how long it takes someone to attend to the problem.

On first July 2023, I raised a shifting request from New Delhi To Noida. The response I get is there is no connectivity in my area. So I requested disconnection. On 4 July I got a call from your team that connection is possible in my area without any extra charges (completely free). On six July My Wi-Fi shifting is done. I paid all my bill amount on first July 2023.

The next bill cycle in August the billing amount is too high. I requested a complaint regarding this on fifth August. No response, on eight and twelve August I raised complaints again and again. On fifteen July I called again. The due date is sixteen August 2023. There is no response.

On seventeen August I received a call from your team regarding due payment, I reminded him about the complaint and the false extra charges applied to my bill, he accepted there was a mistake and removed the shifting charge but other charges are still there. He raised a complaint and assured me within one day this would be resolved. After that, I didn't receive any call or message regarding this. only calls regarding paying the bills and raising complaints again and again.

Till now the problem is as it is and my connection is disconnected but I am receiving messages regarding pending bills and it is increasing.

I visited the Airtel store. But the problem is as it is.

In the past two years, I have been regularly paying my Wi-Fi bills on time. I feel the Worst Service of Airtel this time.

Xfiber not working for 10 days

Hello all,
I have applied for a new xfiber connection and it was installed on 15/08/23, On 16/08 next day my connection stopped working, from the last 9 days, no action has been taken. I have raised numerous complaints and called multiple times a day in the last 9 days, but still no resolution.
I work in US times zone and have been going to different places to work in the night to work, This is really frustrating
I hear the same assurance everyday  that it will be resolved today, your issue is escalated. 9 days of downtime, is that even justified, 
I request you to look into the matter and get this resolved.

Yesterday, I went to a store of Airtel phase 5 Mohali for getting a POSTPAID SIM duly telling them that I needed it for 399 plan
The executive tried to convince me for 599 family plan which I denied
And eventually he assured that he had activated for 399
But despite my requests and affirmation of 399 plan, he did a fraud!
I just received this mail and to my surprise, he dared to activate 599 family plan

This is to officially launch a complaint and to get my refund of 250 (activation charges) also, and to get my number deactivated on an immediate basis

To be clear, I do not need any service from such people or team!

Kindly deactivate my airtel number, arrange for my refund of 250 as well

On the other note, if the company fails to refund my amount and deactivate my number immediately, I will be left with no other option than to take a legal action against your company

You must take strict action against such employees

PAYMENT NOT UPDATE ON PORTAL SINCE ONE MONTH

Dear Airtel Team,The payment has not been updated, it has been 1 month sincethe payment has been made, all the people who come from Airtel leave only aftergiving the bid. Misguided by Airtel employee

I was misguided by south bopal sales manager nilofer on 28th January

The sales executive wrongly entered PIN code and then the sales manager asked me to make the payment again with an assurance of getting the amount refunded

It’s been a month and I still haven’t received any refund inspite several calls

I have contacted the CC team via 121 multiple times but until 14th Feb 2023, there has been no proper update or resolution.
Every day one update which is port unavailable, engineer unavailable, Fiber unavailable only copper available at your new address then finally I agreed to go with copper. Now the recent update after 15 days is that copper can not be installed.

I don't know why copper can not be installed where it is available at my new address.

They want all money from the consumer and are not ready to provide any service.

I had updated airtel about my problem with this trial mail in 2019 and 2021 that my airtel number is having a lot of network issues. I can't hear the end user's voice during calls inside my house (incoming \ outgoing) and when I come out of the house the sound comes out fine and the internet speed is also very bad. I have another sim jio on the same handset and it is working excellently instead of airtel. There is no network problem in jio and the internet is working very fast. After 2021, I used the airtel service (internet + calling) again for better service but still very pathetic service is being given by airtel.

I am shocked to see the complaints here, you pay for your mistakes and that is what is the case with me.
I should have checked the reviews before going for a new connection.

I have increased my suffering by paying for a new connection for Broadband and DTH..Xstream thereof.
If this is so difficult to handle before you actually get the installation I can understand my plight after the connection.

I'm facing network issue 1 year. Every time I called 198 and complaint. But no response. So i complaint national consumer center my complaint id 2537769. I complaint national consumer center on feb2 then airtel headoffice member call me and ask me some time that time duration mar 10 in between that time duration they promise me that issue will be clear but today mar 30 also I faced that issue so now I am going to national consumer court and written complaint letter against airtel.

I am a regular customer of Airtel
I cannot make a clear phone call. This unwanted obstruction posing lots of inconvenience for me. In this situation, I would request you to take necessary actions to resolve this network problem as early as possible. I am having difficulty in conversations due to poor network reception. In the middle of the conversation the call is being disconnected. I am facing this problem since one month.

In earlier days I had submitted a request through Airtel Customer care number about the network problem. However, I haven’t received any response from them after the acknowledgment of my request. I am disappointed with such slow customer service. Kindly take notice of my complaint and provide me the requested upgrade as soon as possible.

I expect a quick service from you in response to this letter. Kindly acknowledge the complaint and take the necessary measures to fix the issue.

Your store manager Mr Sheetanshu singh working in Airtel store as store manager , gurgaon,Harayan  has taken out all my frequently contacted contact list   and handed over to his father , who is sexually harassing me and stalking me by making obscene calls to all my friends and relatives . Also this  amounts to breach of trust , where my data has unauthorised access by Mr Sheetanshu [dot] Singh [at] airtel [dot] com.

Poor and pathetic network

For past few months I am suffering like anything due to poor network connection. I am neither able to make call nor receive calls on time nor able to receive SMSes on time. Do something.

Misguided for braodband

Two airtel peiple came and took thw money. They said broqdband connection will setup in next 48 hours. Its been 5 days they are not responding in day. In the evening they are saying they will setup the connection next day and they are still doing it today as well.

Improper Response from Airtel

Airtel serving very worst services. Even you cal 121 & 198 does not connect any Executive always IVR rotate the call in each and every menu. I was trying last 15 days no and sent email but no connecting directly me.

Postpaid bill issue

Worst services. And no clarification properly. Bad communication with customers. We are ready to pay the bills. But not getting infaormation properly. Airtel is the right way to do office works and important works. All of you choose other best networks. Otherwise lot of money loosed (salaries, bill penalties, property's etc) through airtel. So be alert and change the network frnds. Feedback also very bad on airtel. Network services are good but backend services are tooo bad.

Misguided

I have recharged a international roaming pack for USA for 1255.00 for 10 days 2gb data... After recharge my money deducted but not getting benifit... I m there for another 3 days... But costomer care is misguidng me saying several times several issues... Pls kindly look into this matter.. My complain number is CBNRD30227427623.. serious complaint

I sanjiv malik and my ph no with you is ********, first thanks for keeping me in VIP category.
Some days back any officer from Dehradun call me for my bill, to deposit and I say that sure I will deposit ASAP. But some misbehaviour with that guy at that time.
First you check my account and see how much I use your services and how much amount I pay to you.
From more than a last year my plan was 2999 but no body from your side to call me to change small plan because of my usage but no problem its ok.
I only say to you that now my bill is 66000/- and this amount continue from last 3 or 4 years and I also pay monthly (check my history carefully)
Now my only request to you that I will pay my dues 5000 or 7000 per month and in 4 or 5 months all clear.
I am not able to do all payment in one time.
And why not from your side anybody disconnect my line in 3 or 4 years why now.
That officer say me in call that —— ab dekh mai kya kata noon our mai kya Kar salta noon, tera no band Karuna our tu Chula ke dikha.
Is this kind of officers you appoint to attend customers.
Now my request is that change my plan to smaller one and open my no and I will pay as I commit to you.

I'm Gokul. S and I was called you on customer care on 08/10/2020 , one of yours excective attended my call and respond to me. Still I have coverege issue in my area and already complaint taken by your side, there is no change at all. I got a message from your service team that was your complaint has solved and all that's why I called you. But still I'm facing the same issue so I demand the explanation but the executive put me on hold around 25 minutes. This is not right way to service a customer and I want a clear explanation anginst the complaint and the executive also.

CONNECTIVITY ISSUE

Pls note that I am not going to pay any other amount since my network has not been resolved till date. As the issue is continuing for the last 6 months.

I have paid Rs.400 this month which I will continue to pay till my network problem is not resolved.

Also ensure that my nos should not be barred. If I do not get any proper resolution I shall be bound to lodge the complaint at Consumer court. All correspondence and call recordings has been stored by me for evidence purposes. This is too much.

You can send your networking people at my residence today for troubleshooting, or you can change my IP address.

Phone deactivated even after payment on time

Pathetic service.
I paid the bill amount on time and still services got disconnected as they could trace the payment. It took them about 1 month to trace the payment and reactivate the phone.
The story doesnt end here.The same thing happened for next month payment. i am still struggling with their customer service team to get my phone reactivated. Payment was done through airtel app still facing the problem. The customer service team doesnt even read the mail properly and give un related replies.

New internet connection

The worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. I ha e opted for new connection of internet and the sales executive came home collected all the documents and also paid the amount on the spot online. He said the connection would be fixed by sunday or monday and today is friday no call or update on this. I called them 3 times and same response saying it would be fixed today sir for sure and after that I hope they all are sleeping without giving any response. Feel ashamed to say that I have tried for airtel broadband connection and failed to get it connected for long time and trying to cancel the same now.waited on the call for 25 mins .

This is with reference with my Airtel Family No. : 86230 XXXXX (Son) & 91754 XXXXX (Wife). Inspite of repeated visit to your gallery at Kothrud, I am unable to pay the monthly payment. As it's clear displayed that the closing timings are 07:30 pm, my payment was not accepted, even thou I reached at 07:12 pm. Sir, we are working people, so we need to adjust our timings & visit your place to pay the bills on time. Your staff are so... so... arrogant, that they don't need customers like us, who visit your gallery to pay the bills. If you don't want us, please say so, we would be happy to close the account, but such behavior is not acceptable.

This might be the last time, as I don't like to complain but I will go ahead & close the account.

Error in bill amount

With great dissatisfaction, I would like to ask Airtel whether they have any regards for their customer or not. I was at Nathula wherein Airtel activated my 10days roaming pack and to my surprise without asking me. Also I was well within our Indian boundary . From last 10 years in jayanagar-1st block Bnaglore center city there is pathetic worst signal issue of Airtel.
Many commercial buildings are there here & its heart of city.

I repeatedly back to back raised complaint at Nodal officer by mail. Only auto response i m getting but action towards my complaint / issues is zero .

Is Airtel worth eligible to drive customers grievances ?. You are loosing the name & image in society.
Let me suggest you, keep that zeal to response and quick action when customer calls you. If there is customer Airtel will be there. If there is no customer to Airtel. There would no more Airtel in India.

because of customer airtel is surviving . So please response to customer. Dont keep complaint register no open for longer duration.

No response from Airtel support

I have been waiting for a response from Airtel support for a month, I have not got any response yet, even added the nodal officer in the cc but still nothing.
I have an issue with Airtel Tv app. If this issue is not addressed I will be switching networks at the end of my bill cycle.

No callback from customer service team, not helping nature

Similar issue with me also. My case/complaints are not getting addressed since 3-4 months and bill only is getting increased. Such a pathetic customer service ever seen. I asked them to disconnect the service if they work like this, but they are not disconnecting services also neither providing any resolution.

Network issue and customer service complaint

I have network issues from past 8 months I have complained more than 100 times. It's not answered. I change to special sim also.. after lot of issues sim got activated. But now the bill amount is coming too high.. but I didn't get any customer support. If I send an email to 121@... The guys name Priya and Danish reply the same answer again ND again..

If this is how a customer is treated, I need to escalate issue further and may be raise a consumer court complaint also for looting me.
