I had booked a room for one of my team mates for as per below details however when my guest reached to check In he was told by the hotel staff that due to some technical error his booking is showing checked out and we need to contact OYO customer service for a refund and suggested that my guest who did not have a choice to make a separate payment and book a room. This happened yesterday evening and since today morning I am relentlessly trying to connect to someone in customer service but every time the person puts my call on hold stating that we are transferring to the concerned department and disconnects the call after 10-15minutes.

The Worst Service Provider

I had my bookings in a hotel through oyo app around a week ago.
On the day of arrival since the hotel's contact number was unavailable I called oyo helpline for confirmation. They confirmed again and when my family reached at the hotel, they said the room can't be provided.
The same I informed the oyo helpline and the they started asking extra money. Even then they were not able to provide the room in the same hotel.
My parents were standing out of the hotel for like 2 hours. I was not there since I work in a different city, they were travelling alone.
It was such a waste to book a hotel through this oyo app.

As I travel frequently from Guwahati Airport by Air so I had to stay at night in the nearby Airport area many a times when I have booked OYO hotels near by Airport area but there is one OYO listed property named as " OYO Townhouse 406 Volga Homes Guwahti Azara" that hotel every time asked extra money in addition to the money which was shown during the booking because of which I had to cancel my booking at night times also and they do it everytime and I had already complaint regarding this hotel but no action has taken by the OYO against this hotel its completely illegal and unethical. SO, take some action against this "OYO TOWNHOUSE 406 VOLGA HOMES GUWAHTI AZARA" as soon as possible its completely a fraud and misleading act and violation of consumer protection rights

I want to share the horrendous experience which I had with the hotel.
I made the booking around half an hour before going to check in and made the payment of Rs. 717 from my Paytm wallet and the remaining with Oyo Money in advance to make my check-in seamless. When I reached there I was disappointed as there was no electricity on the entire property and the guests were complaining about the same too. My booking was made successfully on the OYO app but once I reached the hotel and I showed them the booking ID, there they said that this is a glitch from Oyo’s end due to which the booking was made at this price and the original price of the room is 1800+ and they denied me my stay there.
I requested him to allow me to stay as I have already paid the amount in full and I also had to travel in the evening to which the guy at the reception asked for more cash and said that I will need to pay an extra amount of Rs. 1000 else I won't be allowed to check in and also if I tried to cancel, I won't get any refund.
I called customer care and after several tries, an executive picked up my call she listened to me and said not to worry and cancel the booking and assured me that I will be refunded the full amount, she said that she needs to transfer my call to another executive and then there was silence for 15+ minutes straight no one answered and after that, they ended the call.
I canceled my booking and there it shows that there are cancellation charges of Rs. 717, which is exactly the amount which I paid.
I mean, what is this? Why am I not refunded my amount in full when this is an issue from the property and Oyo’s end? My booking was made successfully but I was still denied entry. I spent more than an hour there explaining the situation to them, wasting the time and money which I spent to reach there and I am not even refunded for the inconvenience caused by Oyo and the property.

EXPECTING PROFESSIONALISM - OYO SCAM

On 14th August I made a booking on OYO for one day and the booking ID is TL635042 and paid Rs 1359.Soon after the booking I got a call from the hotel saying there is no availability at the hotel so they can't take me in, and asked to cancel the booking. As they refused to check in. But you are taking cancellation amount from the amount I paid. How come I am responsible for this? Why are you deducting my money, It is the hotel who refused the booking. I need the full amount of Rs1359 to be refunded.

My booking I'd - Q1BZ1810 in tetrad hotel, Bangalore.
When I want to check in, they asked additional 500 rupees. They said they don't honour OYO discount tariff rates. It was late night so I didn't argue and paid them.Its not about 500 rupees, but the fact was I felt insulted.

Next morning,I called OYO customer service from where I did my booking and informed them and she( Kiran, the telecaller executive) said we has lodged a complaint and it will be sent to your email. But till now I haven't received any such email. I have made more than 12 calls to the customer care but everytime they keep me on hold saying they are transferring call to seniors and finally disconnect. If you don't believe, ask them to provide my call recordings, as it is mandatory for them to keep it.

Their telecaller executives are also biggest liers. I think they are well trained to lie to the customers. So,I request you everyone not to beleive these OYO people as they give false commitments. Better directly go the hotel and check in

It has been more than 14 working days since Oyo is telling me that they have initiated the refund and that i will receive the amount within 14 working days. I informed Oyo that there is no issue from the bank side. At the time of Check in to hotel , hotel staff demanded extra tariff as compared to tariff fixed at the time of online booking. After informing this to Oyo rooms they promised me to initiate the refund for extra amount Rs XXXX/- at the time of check out . Even after more than 14 working days my refund is not processed.

Charged for a room I cancelled

I was charged for a room that I cancelled. When we got to Texas to look at the hotel in the pictures it was a really nice place upon arrival the grass needed, mowed, the trash had been dumped who knows when and was piled up all around, and old mattress were thrown out back on the ground. I had to visit Lansdowne on 24th June 2022 and I was travelling my family (3 adults, 1 infant). I made the bookings through OYO app, when I searched for the hotels in Lansdowne. The Kelaflip hotel was in the list and was showing 16 KMs away.

When I reached Lansdowne and turned on the navigation to the hotel, I found that the hotel is around 70 KMs away. I tried to call the Hotel but no one picked up, I also called OYO customer care but got not pass through the IVR.

I had great experience with OYO service in past, but this time the it deceived me in paying around Rs 9000 in advance, for a Hotel I could not stay.

Oyo Hotel misbehave and fight

22.06.2022 on this date I go to Oyo 79828 MoonLight 7 I booked on Oyo app @398 the staff of that hotel tell can't give the room in this price when I became return from this hotel the staff of that hotel tell me and force me to cancel the hotel and miss Behave with me and threatening with me and take my vechile key. When I cancelled the booking after that they give my vechile key.
And Oyo don't have any after cancel complaint number they have only booking number

I booking oyo 29318 hotel krishna ahmadabad india through your costumer booking call. I had booking id NIHN8487 for 16june to 17june and booking id LSQV0904 17june to 18june partialy and 2 different payment 449 Rs and 381 Rs through online.
When i reached at hotel krishna, they denied to me for check in through oyo booking and then i also talk about this matter to your costumer care and head of the hotel krishna at a time but he did not check in my booking.
I cancel my booking but my refund is not received and not show status in oyo app regarding my refunds.
Your costumer care also not proparly respons please look into this matter and resolve my issue as soon as possible and give my refund as soon as possible.

I booked a stay at Hyderabad and was overcharged at the time of check-in.the prices were low on the application but was upgraded without informing me.

Sir today 16.06.2022 I have booked a room from oyo app and I paid rupees 458 but when I arrived at hotel hotel manager told me that he will not allot any room in this price and he told me that he will do nothing about money.

I have booked the hotel on 15 June 2022. My booking was confirmed and the timing was 11.30 am morning. When I called the hotel then they are telling that we don't accept the Oyo booking. Now, OYO refunded department is not picking up the call. My amount of ₹ 1200 is stuck and this city is very new for me. I am in deep trouble and I am going consumer forum to file a case against the service of OYO. Never book hotel through OYO company. This OYO company is fraud. I am telling as Indian and as Ex-OYO customer.

I booked a room for two and post the payment I got a call from the hotel saying there is some issue with the room and asked to cancel it and post cancellation I just got the refund of rupees 66 !

I booked a room at Collection O 77145 IIDM Eco Resort and paid amount also. when i reached hotel they refused to give the room and told that oyo has overbooked so they cant accommodate us.
oyo people has kept our call on hold for 1 hour but not given any solution. :) sic. very worst service and customer care I lost money and suffered mentally as it is difficult to get a room in the last minute.

I booked on May 24 at Townhouse 700 Krishna Hotel Nagpur, whose booking id is HOBN6430.I was not getting the early morning checking. That's why I canceled this hotel and booked another hotel through Oyo calling.I canceled the hotel booking before 9:00 PM and I was told that your refund will come within 7 to 14 days. But till date I have not got the report back. Today is June 9th.

Please Oyo help me to get my refund. Thanks a lot!

We booked a hotel in Delhi named Hare Ram.
We checked in at 1.00 am & when we entered the room we were in shock. Rooms were not cleaned, cigrette and Ash lying all around. AC water leaking on the bed. Room boy was fully drunk and behaved harshly when asked about this. I was with my wife and was helpless as guys at the room threatened us. Such a bad experience at Oyo and these guys have rated them 4 star's verified them. I demand full refund.

Worst stay ever. We had booked a room by OYO with advance booking but after reaching there charged extra money. We was there for exam.We are students we don't have much extra money to pay tham . If they will charge like this. How we will have a good stay somewhere. This is so wrong. OYO is getting worst. That time we was only girls in new city. We had lot of trouble just because of these Oyo rooms.

Regarding refund
