How do I freeze or unfreeze my Wise card?

If you have lost your card or don't recognise a transaction, or don't want to use your card for a while,
you can freeze your card until you want to use it again.

  • Go to your Wise account in the app or on the website
  • If you're in the app, go to Account in iOS or Card in Android. If you're on the website, go to Cards
  • Select Freeze card

When you're ready to use your card again, follow the same steps and select Defrost card.

How do I replace or cancel my Wise card?

You can replace your Wise card at any time for a small fee.

Through App

  • Go to Card tab
  • Tap on Replace Card
  • Choose the reason why are you replacing your card
  • Tap on Replacement Card

Through Webite

  • Click on Cards on the left-hand side
  • Select Replace card
  • Select one of the options on the screen
    • You'll see 4 options:
      • I lost my card
      • My card was stolen
      • My card was damaged
      • Support team suggested I should

Wise Transfer unexplained delays

I’m an African student in India and I must express my displeasure with wise lately. Been waiting on a transfer for days and the scheduled time has changed atleast 3 times already. Honestly this level of service is disconcerting & what’s worse is that we the clients suffer without compensation. Wise is becoming more and more unreliable by the second & they should just spare us the drama and shut down because this is unacceptable

I am getting error while transferring payment although the details provided are all correct.

About my money

Hello transferwise ten days before i send money from romania to nepal but account number has mistak so i cancel transfer money but now a days not returned money my account .so that i need my money soon .

Wrong account

I made a transfer to ICICi wrong bank account. I checked with the bank and they see that the fund has been credited. The bank said the only way to get my money back to from the transferring bank to approach the recipient bank and they will contact the person to refund it. I know it’s website says to contact the recipient. How is it possible to contact and i know person. This is only really a friendly option your organization provides. If it was my bank I could have asked them to contact the recipient bank.

Hi, the same thing happened to me. Please update me on what did you do? Cuz I remember giving my proper account details to Wise but they have refunded the amount to another bank account.
