Degrading Service and higher costs of service

I own a VW Taigun 1.5 GT for the last 3years and am based out of Bangalore. Everytime I have given my vehicle for service, I have found the cleaning to be pathetic especially the interiors. Each of those times, I have had to follow-up with the supervisor sharing photographs and after multiple followups, one person will be send to do the cleaning.
I gave my car for service 2 days back with instructions to the supervisor to give attention to the cleaning. This time again, the cleaning was done properly and dust and fingerprints are all over the dashboard and interiors.
I wonder if the service quality of VW has dropped and deteriorating every year with only focus seemingly to get clients into the service centre and then fleece them with higher costs.
The services costs are very high!! One can get their Japanese or Korean cars serviced multiple times with that cost.
Even if the costs are higher, we don't see the quality of service year after year.
Maybe this is the quality and standards followed by the service supervisors and quality team and we need to start accepting it!!
Would like the senior management of VST handling service to take note and address this issue.

Vento giving serious problem no resolution from service centre

I HV a volswagon vento 2011 model at Indore Madhya Pradesh. About 10 days back car was not starting. Ignition on start and then stop showing ' SAFE' .Towed to dealer and handed over both keys . They re coded the keys and car was working . Yesterday again stopped and both keys not working . Start and stop with '' SAFE'' . I don't know what to do . The dealer worship does not seem to HV any clue what is wrong . I am still waiting for them for next . Car is standing at place where I took yesterday. My car no MP09CF 2167 . I think the matter need escalation and advice from your experts . I am now scared of even moving in the car even if problem is resolved

After sale service - the worst one can experience

Volkswagen service center (PPS motors) at Suchitra Hyderabad the worst I ever used!! Every time they stoop further. I own a Taigun GT from the past 3 years and have always service at Suchitra service center. There is no accountability nor time sensitivity nor a commitment to delivery, the "so called service advisors" are never short of lame excuses. First, they advertise and boast that they provide car pick up for service but for them to arrange a driver for service pick up is a task in itself that takes 3-4 days to confirm. Once the car is sent to service, initially from late evening delivery to next day delivery and now my car has been in the Suchitra service center since (2 days) Aug 4th 8:30am and no confirmation yet if it will be delivered tomorrow. BTW it is general 40k service with additions of seat belt roll back issue, wiper change, power window malfunction, rear sensor buzzer issue and ceramic coat maintenance.
This is my 4th service and all my previous experience as well has been nightmares! To escalate any concerns at the service center is like singing to deaf ears. Bought VW for its brand value and standard but been very disappointed, looks like some cheap standardless customer experience.

New vehicle break down due to faulty clutch

I am from Kerala. My new Volkswagen Taigun TSI which was purchased 7 months ago and covered only 7000 Km got a break down due to the depreciation of the clutch. I felt jerking when I drive in slow speed, especially when moving in a traffic. I have been driving four wheeler since 2011. My previous car (Hyundai Santro) never showed any clutch complaints even after 13 years. Now my Volkswagen dealer (EVM, Kottayam) is demanding for 10 percent of the cost for refixing my car. This is very unfortunate that a new car got this kind of a complaint. I am decided not to spend a penny to get my car fixed. So please arrange to fix my car free of cost. It is one week since the vehicle was brought to the company workshop for maintenance. I am very much busy with my job.I have been suffering for the past 7 days as it is raining heavily in kerala. So please do all the needful

Huge delay in repair of Car

I had some faith in Volkswagen cars, and that is why in 2018 we got Vento Automatic, We maintained it religiously till recent incident.
There was flood situation in Vadodara and water ingress in Car was hardly till Half of Glove box. not even till music system level, but I was shocked to understand that built quality of Car is so poor that it is not designed to run on road with even such water condition. Nothing is protected from damage. Whole Gear box gone, Mecatronics , Head lamps, Gear sifter, starter, etc You name it water can enter anywhere in this car. Repair cost estimated by Service center is approx 7.5 laths. Whole myith i had regarding quality of said car is crashed. It was pathetic. At least cheaper Indian cars are more reliable and easily repairable. Till date more than 2 month passed Since i shifted my car to Service center and still there is no promised date on which i can take back my Car. I am highly disappointed with Volkswagen service Policy and casualness in Indian market. Earlier many people warned me about it but i am clear.
I expect Volkswagen Team to seriously look into it.

Due to Non availability of parts, not able to get my car back

Hi,

This is Dilip Vyas from Nerul, Navi Mumbai. I am having a ValksWagen Polo vehicle since 2016 and I am happy with the car.

Due to some problem, I have sent my car to VW Service station ( MIDC Industrial Area, Nerul, Navi Mumbai) on 31st Mar 22 and service advisor has advised to replace the “Ignition Lock” and it’s barrel on 1st of April 22 after inspecting it.

Even today, after 13 days, I am not able to get the date on which I will get my vehicle back after the replacement of the parts.

Can you expediate the matter to make parts available to above mentioned service station and release my vehicle.

Poor after sales service

Last 3 incidences at your workshop :

1) Few months back I had given my car for service and one of your drivers crashed my car and returned the same without informing . Then after argument they accepted but we
Claimed the same from our insurance company and got it repaired .

2) Last time which is the trailing mail . We gave our car for low engine oil level for 2 days there was no reply from your team . Then we took it to local garage and he repaired it within minutes there
Was just a gasket failure .

3) Today , I got my car repaired and collected it today evening . At the time of handing over the car all window switches were working properly which is mentioned in the
Receipt you give while taking the car , but when I received the car driver window switch is not working at all . And your team gives the explanation that it is electronic switch it can fail anytime .
You have given me discount of Rs 2300 and now I have an additional expense of Rs 4500 .

It feels like this is a regular problem to give at your workshop and you don’t want to get it solved . If I give for some work you make a new problem which is far more expensive than the original one .

I would like to write about these incidents in much more details but I required contact of Volkswagen India head or someone in Germany who looks after India service centres .

Although , Polo is the least expensive car of Volkswagen in India but this has really de-motivated me to buy a more expensive car of Volkswagen .

Bad after service

My car under warranty hed light continue on service department say switch no warranty very bed service in vadodara. I request plz solve my problem

Systems and camera not working properly

I have six time compalin about this but still days not clear above complain.

I have not satisfy with your people answer now they told me you will change your system outside.

Because of my car in warranty period how can i change directly after that how can provide warranty by Volkswagen.

I have west my time to purchase above company car.

I have also visit 4 to 5 people they have also told me that do not want to purchase above car and give remanded to any one buy this company car.

Hello Team,
This is Rohit Kumawat from Jaipur, Rajasthan. 
I have AMEO 2019 model care no: RJ45 CJ 1233, After 1st service, I was facing some issues in the car. There was a noise coming from the left side rear tyre. When I went for 2nd service I told the staff about this issue but it remained the same. Then I went again to the service center on 20th June, I told the staff and one person took the drive with me he knew there was a noise but he said it happens in all our cars. Noise is still there. Then I went to local service center he told me there is a problem in the back left side shocker. 
I go for the Sitapura Industrial Area Service Center which is 30 km away from my house. 
Now I want to the reason why it is happening again and again when somebody go-to the service center and they do not take it seriously. Why you people try to make the customer fool. Bloody hell, somebody went twice to your showroom with the same issue and your technical staff could not find out the simple issue which anyone can tell you the issue and show it. Even then your all staff say it happens in our all car then why it was not when I purchased it. 
I will not leave your team this time. They wasted my time and money. 
I want your reply in written only not on call.

car servicing

i was given my car Volkswagen Vento AP09CE7488 for servicing on 9th June in Hyderabad , Khajaguda center. They were telling that some part is not available and it will come after 30 th June. i am not understanding why they required 21 days to get the part. How i have to travel these 21 days?. i am calling continuously to service center response was very poor. i was never expected this type of poor service from Volkswagen. i actually planned to buy new Volkswagen Tiguan. now i dropped my plan and would like to go another brand.

Negligence and lack of customer support @Jamshedpur centre

This is to bring to your notice that my Volkswagen Polo Car (BR01CJ5023) met with an accident on 6th of Jan'2020. It was badly damaged at the back side as it was hit by a bus. I myself suffered an ankle fracture in my right leg.
The car was received at the VW Jamshedpur Service center on 7th Jan'2020.
I was in frequent touch with Mr Prem Kumar & Mr Zahid over phone throughout the month of January. I had requested them multiple times to get the repair job done as early as possible because my car was the only means which I could use to commute with my fractured ankle. They kept making claims that the process had been started and were awaiting parts needed for the job. I was also given the commitment that I would receive my car by 15th Feb.

In the month of February, even after trying multiple times, i was unable to contact either Mr Prem or Mr Zahid. On 13th of February, I spoke to Mr Arun on phone. I then came to realize that no job had been done on my car yet. On the other hand, he told me to deposit 50% of the estimate amount in order to start the job. Such a demand is unacceptable considering I have a full insurance cover for my car from Bajaj Allianz which happens to be a partner of VW for cashless insurance claims. Again, on the same day evening, i got a text from Mr Arun that i do not need to make any money transfer.

Today, i visited the service center only to realize that there is no progress yet on my car's repair job. They have not yet ordered the parts which is required although the estimate for the car was ready on 14th Jan itself and same was approved by Bajaj Allianz (I got this confirmation from Mr Arjun of Bajaj Allianz). Today again, Mr Arun asked me to deposit 50% of the estimate amount in order to start the job. This lacklustre approach of the team is totally unacceptable and brings a very bad image to the Volkswagen brand.

Kindly look into this matter and resolve it on urgent basis. It's already been more than 1.5 months with no progress on the repair job. I am expecting a favourable response from Volkswagen team.

Note- On asking about the email id details of the present VW Area Service Manager or any higher management person, Mr Arun denied providing the same.

Car service compliant

I regret to state that a complaint in the Volkswagen car. I reported second time with Ramani cars Thanjavur Tamil Nadu has not been rectified.
They never care about the complaint and simply dodging the customer saying Filmcy replies.
I report to you to take suitable action to rectify the defect since it is not rectified by the dealer.

Negligancy at your Jamshedpur delear’s work sho

Fortnight back I send my POLO. car to your Jamshedpur dealer for replacement of rediator till date nothing has been they say rediator is not available in their show room and placed the order for same with ZHO. MY CAR NO. IS JH05 AF 2727

No service at all in vizag

I have handed over my vehicle polo for repair on 11 Feb 19. 4 days before they have called for service. i have informed to complete service along with repair. on 22 Feb 19 they have informed that service is not required and vehicle ready for delivery. i told to sent it through driver. When i am waiting for car, driver called and informed that vehicle is not going beyond 20KMPH and can't be handed over. next day they told, throttle valve gone and needs replacement which costs Rs.37000. that should be paid by customer only. Till date they have not completed job and informing it will take 10 more days get the item. it s almost 45 days for this activity.

Complaint Regarding Negligent Service at Volkswagen Nashik Servi

It is strongly regretted to inform that I had given my Vento car bearing registration number MH 20 BY 1887 for annual servicing at Volks Wagen Nashik on 8th November 2016. I had requested to replace damaged air vents on the dashboard. The same was replaced vide the invoice number SIP141439 Dated 8th November 2016.
After receiving the car, I found that the rear windshield de-fogger, which was in a proper working condition prior to handing over the vehicle for servicing, was not working after servicing. I informed the service manager immediately. I am sure that the wiring of the de-fogger was disturbed during replacement of the air vent due to the negligence of the servicemen.
But due to some works and reasons, I could not visit the service station at Nasik.
As the car is having very less run, I didn't,t service it during 2017.
While I gave the vehicle for servicing again on 1st June 2018, I had very clearly instructed the service manager Volkswagen Nashik regarding repairs of the defogger. But to my utter surprise, while I called in the evening to inquire if the car was ready, I asked if the de-fogger was repaired, the service manager replied that the switch of the defogger was damaged. I asked them to replace the switch, they replied that the switch was not available in spares and it had to be ordered. I immediately requested the service manager to place an order for the switch so that the de-fogger could restore its working condition before the monsoon.
I have pursued the matter with the Service Station at Nashik five-six times during these twenty days but I am not getting responsible replies.
Working condition of the rear windshield de-fogger is extremely important for me while driving in rainy conditions.
It is requested to take up the matter as early as possible and arrange for necessary action.
