I was committed that all room problem will be resolved by the boarding day but even after 5 days of on boarding, flush and health faucet does not work, door does not close, basin leaks. Few other problems are resolved while critical remained unheard.

I am writing to formally raise a serious concern regarding the non-processing of my security deposit refund amounting to ₹24,603. It has now been over 45 days since my checkout, and the refund has still not been credited to my account, despite your commitment to process it within the agreed timeline.
This delay is highly inconvenient and unacceptable. I would like to highlight the double standards in your operations — while Stanza Living imposes penalties and late fees if rent payments are delayed even by a single day, it is now failing to uphold its own obligations when it comes to refunding advance payments made by residents. Such practices reflect poorly on your service standards and customer commitment.
I demand that this refund be processed immediately without any further delay. If this issue is not resolved within the next 3 working days, I will be compelled to escalate the matter through appropriate consumer grievance channels.

Formal Complaint Regarding Threatening Behaviour by Co-Resident

Hello Team,

My name is Prasanth Baboo from Stanza Living St Petersburg, Bangalore.

I am writing to formally bring to your notice a serious incident that occurred on 2nd October 2025.

Earlier today, I was speaking with Abdullah (Sales) and Prasad (Co-PG resident) regarding certain issues, in the presence of RC Dolan. During this discussion, another co-resident, Mr. Vishal, entered the common area with his friends and began shouting loudly. Since an important discussion was ongoing, I politely requested him to lower his voice. However, instead of cooperating, he became aggressive and made unwarranted comments such as “What’s your problem?” and “You always have problems”.

Despite my calm attempts to diffuse the situation, Mr. Vishal escalated the matter further and directly threatened me by saying “I will see you”. His friends further provoked him. This was not the first such instance, previously, I had even received a threat message from him, which has caused me constant mental distress since the day I joined this PG.

I also wish to highlight that the CCTV cameras in the premises have captured this incident, and the security guard, Mr. Nithin, was a direct witness to the altercation. Hence, there is both visual and testimonial evidence of the harassment faced by me.

As per law, such threats and harassment may attract provisions under the Indian Penal Code, including but not limited to:

Section 503 IPC – Criminal intimidation,

Section 504 IPC – Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace,

Section 506 IPC – Punishment for criminal intimidation.

Such conduct creates an unsafe and hostile environment for me as a resident. I had already mentioned to RC Dolan that I am considering vacating the premises by the 15th of this month due to this ongoing harassment. Unfortunately, I feel that appropriate action has not been taken against Mr. Vishal to ensure a safe and peaceful living environment for all residents.

I also wish to note that I had plans to continue with Stanza PG in Kochi due to my upcoming work transfer. However, this incident has caused me to lose confidence in the credibility and safety standards being maintained.

I kindly request you to take immediate disciplinary and preventive action against the individual concerned, review the CCTV footage, and record the statement of the security guard Nithin to ensure fairness. I am keeping this as an official written record of the incident, and I trust that Stanza PG management will handle this matter with the seriousness it deserves.

Request for Urgent Refund of Security Deposit

This is regarding the security deposit of ₹[14954], which I had paid for the property at [stanza scottsdale , gupta plot 3 tulsi theatre road Marathahalli Bangalore] . As you know, I vacated the premises on 12th August, and all handover formalities were completed as per the agreement.

As of today, I have not yet received the refund. I am currently in need of the amount urgently, and I would greatly appreciate it if the security deposit could be processed and credited to my account at the earliest.

I would highly suggest you to first write them email and mention specifically that after completion of 45 days of refund they will charged additional interest on the deposit, which they have not refunded you and give them ultimatum that if your money is not refunded in 48 hours, you will file the conplaint to *Grahak Suraksha Portal* , and they may be charge for mental hurresment malpractice. Try this email. You will probably get results. And if not, try to file complaint you will get healthy refund and compensation.

Security Deposit not giving back

I genuinely regret choosing this property. At first, everything sounded smooth and professional — they spoke politely, promised transparency, and assured me that my deposit would be returned without hassle. But the reality was completely different.
It has been over two months since I moved out, following every process they asked me to, yet I have not received my deposit. Every time I follow up, I only get standard, copy-paste email replies with no real action. Calls are ignored, and no one takes responsibility. It feels like once you leave, they stop caring about you completely.What hurts the most is the double standard — tenants are chased and pressured if rent is even a day late, but when it’s their turn to return money, there’s no urgency, no courtesy, not even the decency to answer calls.This has caused me so much stress and frustration, and I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through the same. I sincerely hope the management realizes how unfair this is and changes their approach, but until then, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Please think twice before staying here.

Security refund issue

Left Stanza mecknes house in gandi maisamma hyderabad two months ago, but still now I didn't get my security money refund. Ticket raised in stanza app also. Now I'm regretting by choosing stanza and also won't recommend to any of my circle.

Exorbitant electric charges - siphoning

Recently from last one month - they have introduced electric bill based on consumption.
But that meter is smart enough to siphon off the customer's money.
Firstly the unit charge is Rs13/-. Added to that Rs20/- per day per head as a common area consumption charge + some Rs15/- to Rs20/- the meter will deduct without any reason. That warden is not having any reason for that and he cannot help. He says that it is controlled centrally.

Overcharging than the amount told before onboarding

I was told of ₹10,000 rebate for one time payment of fees, but now they are refusing by saying I didn't told them about it, even though they are the one who made the Affidavit for bank transfer and one time payment.

Need help to exit stanza living before lock in period

Recently rented a stanza living in chennai. Everything looks different from the pictures found in their website and it is very unclean and nasty. I couldn't even tolerate a day to stay there. But I have already paid my first month rent and advance one month. There is lock in period of 3 months and notice period should be 1 month. I am ready to give notice period and vacant at this instant. But they are asking for remaining two months rent. Could somebody please help me how to exit from the stanza in my situation?? I am ready to forfeit my advance and first month rent fully. But i dont want to pay for remaining months in lock in period. Because I don't want to stay any more day. Please help

Deficiency in service and rude behaviour

Stay in stanza living is such a scam ! …. They removed my belongings without my knowledge and consent in my absence in the property stating that rent was not paid … although I already informed my them as I m exiting the property requested them to adjust my deposit amount with that month rent and they agreed to do the same ! And they didn’t asked me to pay the rent …. After all this without informing or reaching me …I’m my absence they seized my things ….. I tried reaching the residence captain as well the residence manager and they didnt response and behaved so rude and inhumane….At night i was literally thrown out in streets ! I managed to get home in midnight !

Took advance amount for double sharing now not giving room

This is the issue in Bangalore stanza Frankfurt hotel where my son booked the room for double sharing and paid advance as well , now the person who took the advance left and did not make the reservation, the current supervisor saying the room was showing booked for single room which is very costly . The double sharing was booked in 13k per month. I have a receipt for advanced amount paid to company. Need help on this ASAP .

Complaint against Refund Amount

Dear Stanzalining Team

This is to bring to your attention that I was residing at Casula XXX at Porur, Chennai. My contract got over on Feb this year. As I was in abroad that time, I couldn't access my app and apply for move out. I called up Stanzaliving representative Mr. Ajay on the next day and informed him about my situation. I also requested him to process my Move Out and remove my minor stuff from the room. I specifically requested him to avoid any addition payment of rent after the contract period is over. Though he assured to do the same, he didn't. After several requests over phone, I found in the app that my move out date is marked as third march24. After few days, I found that move out is withdrawn. I tried to reach Ajay but it went unanswered. After returning back to India , I immediately processed moveout using my app on Fourteenth march. I informed the same to Ajay. He confirmed that Move Out has already been processed and there will not be deduction of rent. Now, on receipt of final statement in end of April. I found that moveout date is marked as Twenty March and a full month rent has been deducted from my security deposit.

This is a total unfair practice Stanzalining resorted to and I disagree to accept the final settlement. I tried to reach Ajay today also to ask for explanation, but my call went unanswered.

I request Stanzalining operation team to look into this issue and refund my full security deposit at the earliest. I look forward for your immediate attention and necessary action.

Since june 28th, 2023. I’m following up with your team related to my security deposit hold by your Account’s department. Regarding the same I wrote a email to the same email ID on 28th June 2023. App shows error in your records related to my move out date my actual moved out date is 20.06.2023 but your app shows it as 28.06.2023. After Soo much of months they are not yet responded and not even a proper response

Refund of deposits

When I came to see this property (Stanza Living Florence House, Hinjewadi), at that time, it was told that the electricity bill of every amenities provided like common area, kitchen, water filter etc will be included in the rent. So, as this was my main concern while selecting a PG to stay, I agreed to it and signed the contract and extended my stay for 12 months. Before that, I stayed here for three months.
  10-15 days after extending my contract, they started changing their policies day after day. First, it was about the food system. Now they have introduced another policy that says we have to pay electricity bills separately, which will not just include my usage, I will have to pay a common shared bill which will include the community's usage and the electricity bill of appliances being used in the common areas which were previously included in the rent.
   All this is being done stating one clause that says that they can amend the contract anytime. But our agreement or views to those changes are not considered in those policy making.
   Therefore, in such conditions,:-
1.)  Where policies keep on changing day      after day,
2.) The problems are not being addressed even after saying that Stanza living treats their residents like a family,
3.) Where, I am in a state in which I have to accept whatever changes they want to make in the policies,
   All the above stated conditions are compelling me to end my stay here. For that I asked to give my money back which I have paid in the belief that it was my money and Stanza will have a humanistic approach towards any issue that I'll be facing and will resolve it. Now, when I am finding it unsuitable for me and, for that reason only, asking for the refund of My total amount stuck with them that is ₹32,737.5
  I have tried to reach out the city head Sumit Deshmukh, and the cluster manager Amir Khan, but they are just saying that that can't do anything and cannot refund my money and we will have to pay the rent otherwise leave this place.

My chils was staying there..not disClosing identity in fear of harrassment. First answer to anything is a 'NO WE CANNOT' They lie and falsely accuse the child for misbehaviour where as they themselves threaten you. Facilities very poor.. bathrooms shabby and ill maintained. Food worst. Dont even keep basic occupancy records of children staying . Once this post comes online the standard response will ..."sorry we cannot find you in our database" NO REFUNDS EVER.. I live in Wellington property in vadodara location initially they told me it was a 2 sharing property and now they are saying I have to share my bathroom with 4 people . How is this a 2 sharing property. And they are charging healthy amount for it.

At the time of registration, they try to take payment as soon as possible and when I visited the property, the people were very rude. I asked for refund many times, but they do not reply at all. On call, they say that your call will be forwarded to the team and ask me to mail several times. Like, I am not free to mail and call them 500 times for 500rs.

Stanza living is the worst place to stay I completely prefer you not to stay in Stanza ever, it is the worst company I have ever seen in my life, they are charging highest rent in the market and not giving the desired results or services and one of the most important thing about Stanza is that you will be completely ignored once you paid your rent and nobody listening to you ever, nobody resolves your problem, food quality is very poor, variety in food is very miserable and there is always a restriction on the quantity of food, the staff of Stanza where I lived behaved in a way that we are slaves of them, rooms are very small, no facilities of fridge, oven, induction, pure water and there is a limit of wifi usage also,

So these are the things you must kept in your mind before choosing Stanza to stay because these are genuine problems because I am currently staying in Stanza and these all things are happening to me and i can't disclose my location because the staff will make my stay more miserable so please share it help me

Stanza living has the worst service ever. I prebooked Toronto house property by paying ₹2000 and visited the property the very next day. There was no one there to properly guide us and show the pg. The location was very bad and then we are informed that the rooms are all book and nothing can be done. It's been one week since then and I have been constantly contacting them for refunds but have been getting no rssponsr. This is highly disappointing!

Refund and Cancellation

I booked the property almost 1.5 months ago and when I reached the property such the worst service was provided. I cannot just tell you about it.
