Fraud Reporting

To report an Unauthorized Transaction and Blocking your debit card via Internet Banking or through Branch. The process is given below:

Block card using Internet Banking

  • Go to Internet Banking, login to Debit Card portal and fill your details.
For Temporarirly “Card Locking / Unlocking”
  • Select on “Debit Card” option for temporarirly block or unblock and click on submit.
    • The window display the message - The customers can temporarirly block or unblock their debit cards using this option.

For Permanently “Card Block”

  • Select on “Debit Card” option for Permanently blocking and click on submit.
    • The window display the message - The customers can Permanently Block their debit cards by changing the card status to Lost, Damaged or Stolen. For new card the customers has to visit the branch only.

Block card by visiting Bank Branch or through App

  • To report Unauthorized Transaction and Blocking your debit, you have to visit your nearest branch (Details given above) or you can contact on 044-33520407 (24x7, 365 days including holiday).

Bank need the your required documents to report unauthorized transactions, details given below:

Unauthorized transactions done on Internet Banking.

  • Customer ID
  • Account number
  • Transaction date and time
  • Transaction amount
  • Type of transaction e.g. NEFT/ RTGS.
  • SMS/Email of transaction confirmation.

Unauthorized Debit Card or ATM Card transaction

  • Debit Card or ATM Card number
  • Type of transaction e.g. ECOM, Cash withdrawal, POS etc.
  • Date and time of transaction
  • Transaction amount.
  • SMS/Email of transaction confirmation.

Kindly note you have to report within 3 working days of the transaction begin. If you report after many days the bank will not responsible for your loss becaus bank will take minimum 30 to 120 days (1- 4 month) of investigation and sharing report to customer with details.
