How to Register a Complaint?

Documents required to start the procedure

  • A valid mobile number (required for OTP-based registration and login).
  • A valid email address (recommended for receiving confirmation and updates).
  • A government-issued ID proof such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or Driving Licence for identity verification.
  • Complete details of the incident - including date, time, location, and a clear description of what occurred.
  • Any supporting documents or evidence such as photographs, videos, or receipts, if applicable.
  • A stable internet connection and a working computer or mobile device.

Procedure:

Step 1: Registeration and Login

Step 2: Select the Service

  • After logging in, select the required service from the dashboard such as Complaint Registration, Verification Services, Certificates, Reports, or any other available online service.

Step 3: Fill in the Details and Submit

  • Fill in all the required information for your selected service and upload supporting documents, if required.
  • Review the information carefully and click Submit. Note down the Reference/Tracking Number generated after submission for future follow-up.

Step 4: Track Your Complaint

  • You can check the status of your submitted request or complaint by logging into your account and opening the respective service request.

Step 5: Visit the Nearest Police Station

  • If your complaint or query is not resolved online within a reasonable time, you may also visit or contact your nearest Saanjh Kendra or police station for in-person assistance

Step 6: Lodge your complaint CPGRAMS

After Filing Your Complaint

  • A unique Reference/Tracking Number will be generated immediately after submission. Save this number — it is required for all future follow-ups and status checks.
  • Your complaint will be forwarded to the concerned police station or officer based on the jurisdiction and nature of the complaint.
  • The assigned officer may contact you on your registered mobile number for additional details or clarification if required.
  • You will receive SMS or email updates on the progress of your complaint at key stages of the process.
  • You can log in to your account anytime on the official website to check the current status of your complaint using your Reference Number.
  • If you are not satisfied with the resolution provided, you may re-escalate by visiting your nearest Saanjh Kendra or filing through CPGRAMS as described in Step 6 above.
