BROAD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF WWW SERVICES & GENERAL INFORMATION.
1. The International Connectivity is provided via VSNL.
2. The subscriber is required to desist from putting unsolicited messaging on server.
3. The subscriber is required to ensure that objectionable or obscene messages or
communications which are inconsistent with the established laws of the country are not
made by him or any other person using his password/site/server.
4. MTNL may revise tariff for WWW Services from time to time at its discretion.
5. The subscriber is required to fully comply the provisions of the Indian Telegraphic Act
1885, and the Indian Telegraph Rules made thereunder and any amendments or
replacement made thereto from time to time.
6. Payment of Bills - It would be the responsibility of the subscriber to make advance
payment of WWW Service. MTNL would discontinue the service incase of non-receipt of
advance payment without giving any notice to the subscriber.
7. Arbitration of Disputes - In event of any question, dispute or difference arising out of
provisions of WWW, the matter shall be referred to the sole arbitration of the Chairman &
Managing Director, MTNL.
8. Customers will be responsible for creating their own HTML pages.
9. Minimum contract duration for Web Site Hosting Service is one year. Web server
hosting is available for 3 & 6 months also.
10. All DD's are to be drawn in favour of MTNL, Mumbai.
11. Domain names are registered by NCST for Indian Domains only
12. For Web Server Hosting - Configuration of servers and services which will be provided
from them may be annexed with the application form.
13. The form duly filled in may be presented to C.O.(Internet), O/o AGM(CS-PW), Gr. Flr,.
