Compensation & Stolen Cash & Gold
The incident occurred in July 2025 during my return journey from Madinah Al-Munawarah to Hyderabad after Hajj, Flight No. SV 3078. Upon my arrival at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad, India. I was shocked to discover that my hand baggage was tampered with and opened using a sharp object. Unfortunately, I lost SAR 4,000 in cash and two gold rings weighing 5.22 grams (worth SAR 2,250) were stolen from the bag.
I reported the matter to ground staff they advised me to register the complaint thru Saudia Airlines website and on the same day complaint was registered, and my claim reference # HYDSV12189, Flight # 3078 . Arrival Date & Time 01-July-2025 - (16:10 HYD)
Despite multiple follow-ups, I have not received any meaningful update. In Oct 2025, I received an email from the airline stating that USD 100 had been approved as compensation for my handbag damage. It also asked me to submit bank account details. I have done so at the same time through the claim link.
But till this time no progress.
