Further, considering the infeasibility of carrying out ‘In-person’ verification of the non-resident clients by the stock broker’s staff, attestation of KYC documents by Notary Public, Court, Magistrate, Judge, Local Banker, Indian Embassy / Consulate General in the country where the client resides may be permitted.

KYC Registration Agency Regulations, 2011 SEBI has instructed all intermediaries to upload KYC documentation of their clients to a KYC registration agency to centralize the KYC records in the securities market. (SEBI Circular MIRSD/Cir-23/2011).
In this regard, we wish to inform the client that all the KYC documentation provided by you will be uploaded to a SEBI-registered KYC Registration Agency’s system. These details can then be accessed by any other intermediary when client approaches them.
The charges for uploading new KYC documents or for fetching and verifying existing KYC documents will be passed on to the client.

Please check the following before forwarding the form to the processing cell
1. KYC Form
The KYC form (Annexure-2) is a single page form that is page number 3 in part 1 of the form. Please ensure
a. Client affixes a recent passport size photograph and has signed across the photograph.
b. The form is duly filled and signed by the applicant.
c. The branch authority signs as the authorised signatory and affixes the stamp of the branch on ‘Seal/Stamp of the intermediary’.
d. Client submits a proof of identity, proof of address and PAN card copy as KYC supporting documents. (A checklist for admissible KYC documents can be found on pg 5 to pg 7)
e. The KYC supporting documents bear ‘verified with original’ stamp alongwith sign and S.S. No. of the branch official and stamp of the branch
2. Form to be sent to Global Markets (Part 2 of the form)
The entire form is to be sent in original to Global Markets department. Please ensure

It is advisable to maintain a copy of the form sent to the Mumbai office. It is also mandatory that a copy of the completed and signed form be given to the client.
