Noc for loan clearance

Hello, My loan EMI completed on May 2018. I was waiting for NOC at my registered address. After waiting of two months I have contacted local office by the help of my brother. It has been asked from your office agent that being loan account holder I will have to apply for NOC separate. Surprise to understand the internal process of a very big financial institute, that though loan has been closed as agreed till you need additional application for NOC. Also requested, if you inform loan a/c holder about this policy during approval, then they contact for NOC proactively in better way.
