My self Nimisha though I had not apply for credit card I recieved call from the tecaller name manshi she ask for credit card requiredment as explain about the scheme also within 1 hour the perosn name abhiskekh came to collect the document on same day and calling continues, at the time I was on my job i had not recived the call she done call on landline number and asking about the adress it was not confirm that i will submited the dox on same day only when the collection boy came i inform that she this is not done your haresing the customer that girl manshi talk with that if dont want to take than why u say yes to apply than if you will not take than the hdfc ban kis not going to close we hve many customer and bad word aslo, do this is right? I had good opinion on HDFC bank service but now I am disappointed with the service. On top of that I am a saving account holder of HDFC Bank for last 7 years which I am planning to close down now.

Regarding HDFC Credit card Status - Disapproved

Hello HDFC Bank,

This is regarding HDFC Credit card,I had received a call from HDFC bank for Platinum Credit card offer and the Person from HDFC Credit card department collected all documents and after some days i checked the status saying Some verfication Problem.And later on, the HDFC customer service people said to drop the documents in HDFC ATM - presented box.

But now after 15 days the Status says,

2 years ago when i went to branch in phagwara, someone over their told me that i can get credit card based on the savings account i have in bank.
with just 200 inr fees per year.
it sounds cool, so i applied for it.
i live overseas, so hardly check my account online.
but from last couple of months, i am checking my account. and only thing i can see is some kind of stupid fees. and that also without any reason.
i am getting 45 days to payoff my used money from that credit card.
which i always do.
HDFC, as soon as i get back to india, i will close my both accounts with u.
enough is enough.

One fine(?) day a hdfc person called me and offered credit card on basis of the hdfc account I have. He said it will be approved, The verification call was made and I cleared it. After few days this is the reply. They call to the landline where in I have mobile number with me. Who will attend landline when they are away from home for office? do they have commonsense.

Credit Card EMI

I have been using the HDFC credit card from past three years by doing lots of transactions. And some of already under EMI ..

I did a last transaction on 9 September 2012 of rs 58000 but your credit card dept. is updating that they are unable to create any EMI for me for this amount as there is no offer under my card. And we need to pay this huge amount in cash till the due date itself.

I do not understand that how come suddenly this provision comes into picture???? Now do you want us to call the HDFC customer care before doing any transaction.. Should we wait for any offer on our card and then go for any transaction???

What is the use of holding a credit card when we need to pay in cash. And if this offer provision is new into the picture why were the user not been informed of this new rule.??

It’s simple.. I cannot pay this amount and this is the way you are creating defaulters and blaming the customers for not making the payment.

I have never face such an idiotic issue with any of the other bank CC which I am using. I need to close my credit card with your bank.

.my complain is hdfc health Ergo is active on phone.I called custmrcare and Lucknow branch last two month for close this.I cashed the money Rs 20,000/ and deposit immediately.and purchase last one month (Rs529,Rs 1173,Rs230).and lone emi- 1191.so total amount is around Rs 3123.so I will not pay excess dues or interest.Ms puja(Lucnow) handled my A/C.her no is 9307604697,9125491164.so plz rply me.no one took a action without calling many times.so Lucknow branch peoples told me ,I call u later,I submit your mail.i close your health plan, I call u etc.so plz I have not my fault.I called her .and told her clear this excess amount , I deposit all the pending amount and proper running the account properly.so plz take action immediately otherwise already very late.but Lucknow staff is very irresponsive and lazy.

Card Statement from 2008 - till date

I have applied credit card when I was in chennai as per your executive force and received card bearing no 4346781005300603 and I have used the card last during 2009. Since then I am paying minimum amount due and lumpsum amounts some occassions. But balance amount not reducing since then even after paying so much amounts inspite of that card was expired September 2011. Still balance appearing as 35614.76. Payment portal not working

Dear Sirs,

I have been using HDFC card for last 4 year without any problem and have been paying through the payment gate way on the portal billdesk.com/pgdsk/pgmerc/hdfccard. But this portal is not working for last 4-5 days and gives following message :

Sorry, we are unable to process your request right now. We apologize for any inconvenience.

On enquiry, your cusumer care executives keep promising that the portal would get operational within couple of hours but the same has not been restored for last 4 days. Becouse of this I am not able to make the payment. Today is the last date for payment for my card and I do not know when this portal would start working. Kindly note that the delay in payment is to the accout of HDFC Bank only.

CANCELLATION OF CREDIT CARD AND INSURANCE POLICY and Inappropria

I have HDFC Bank Credit card. On December 2011, they have offered me mediclaim policy on that credit card. On march , i sent the application for the closure of credit card and policy, They have cancel my credit card but instead of cancel the policy also they have Pre close it and levied inappropriate charges on it . They even didn't informed me also about it. Now after 2 months they are calling for the payment of that Pre close amount and they have converted it into loan without my knowledge and original amount was Rs 7500 but now its around 9500 because of that charges. I don't want that policy and i already send the application for totally cancellation of that policy again but they are not answering it and calling for the payment.

Its really a mental pressure for me . What should i do in this situation ?

his response was very pathetic and rude.

I urged him for my complain and confusion but instate of giving me solution he made me so angry that now i am thinking to just throw of this card not because of i am upset because

This has reference to the late payment fee and interested charged on my above mentioned credit card statement dated Dec-11/Jan/Feb-12 ,please note I have not received the credit card statement for the period from December 2011 to February 2012 .Due to the non-receipt of the said statement, I couldn't make the payment on time. but I always make the minimum payment as per call from collection Agency and also requested to him and customer care for bill delivery but they did not got the bill .

Credit Card Application rejected

I am shocked with the service,where as i received a call a several time follow up from HDFC credit card department From Mr.Rohit insisiting to take the credit card,where as if i will say yes on the paticular day they will get a kind of commission and i agreed after a long discussion with my Family,i submitted all me confidential document to a guy from some outsource as confirmed by Rohit who came to collect the document after 25 days i received one letter saying my Application is rejected,i received that letter on my office address,where as i requested them to sent all my document at my residential address,but it was not been followed,however when i called your customer care,Ms Avni was on line she picked and she said she is unaware why the application was rejected,i requested her if she can connect me to TL,but she said everyone is busy and asked me to call back after half an hour,i just wanted the reason of application supended.Further the service which i received was pathetic,poor,unacceptable.the time i started receiving the call i said that guy about the very good service which i am receiving from AXIS and belive me their strong follow up was so good ,they commit whatever they say.But very unhappy with the service by HDFC,when they required customers they literally harassed and now no response if customer wants to know something,in letter received there was something mentioned Any Financial/Non Financial liability arising due to the same would not be borne by the bank.

TEN MONTHS AND STILL WAITING!!!

I cannot even begin to explain how frustrated and disappointed I am with HDFC. I had applied for the credit card sometime in May 2011 when we were opening our salary accounts. 48 others had applied along with me. They did not get back to quite a few of us, so we all contacted the bank and reapplied. I am yet to receive any call from the bank in this regard, almost ten months after my first request!!! I have made innumerable phone calls, but every time it is the same thing. The person who answers the call says that there has been no request made so far with my reference number or my phone number, etc and that person sends in another request to process the application, assuring me a million times that it will happen in the next two or three days. Nothing ever happens, and when I call back to follow up, no one at the bank seems to know what I am talking about. I Have explained this whole problem at least ten times to various people, but the bank just doesnt seem to care. I am so frustrated that I dont even know whom to approach to solve this. EFFECTIVELY, I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR TEN MONTHS TO GET ONE CREDIT CARD, FOR WHICH I HAVE FOLLOWED UP AT LEAST THRITY TIMES!! I have never been this frustrated by any company at all so far.

Amount deducted from account

Hi,
On 16th of january 2012 i see that amout of 7,570 +change has been
deducted from my account, when i called the customer care, i had been told
that, deduction has been done by credit card departement.

Please let me know the amount is deducted from my account, i rarely use my

I am Holding a HDFC Credit Card. I got this card through your associate named "Sweeta" from HDFC Card department. She told me that there is no annual charge you have to pay on this card because your are Genpact Employee and its our bank issue this card free of cost for Genpact Employee. I have also talk to HDFC card manager He also said tha same. I have recorded Communication between manager and me over the phone, now I am again received Statement with annual Charges, please resolve this. I had utilised Rs.5000/- by using HDFC Credit card for purchasing LED on 21/8/2011 and I have received intimation from HDFC Bank to pay Rs.5000/- on 26.9.2011, accordingly I deposit the cheque for Rs.5000/- on 23.9.2011 but due to oversight I had not written Credit Card No. on the front of the cheque and received back the cheque from HDFC bank on 1.10.2011 and the very next day i.e. 2.10.2011, I had deposited the same cheque again by writing credit card number in HDFC Bank after discussed with customer care personnel. After that I received sms from your bank that I have to pay Rs.530/- as late fee and I contacted hdfc bank customer care personnel. After discussion they informed this time as a special case you need not have to pay Rs.530/- but in future be careful. Again after 10 days I had received a letter from HDFC bank to pay Rs.530/- towards late fee again I had discussed the customer care personnel, they informed me that there is nothing outstanding against your credit card.

But to my surprise again I had received duplicate statement for paying Rs.530/- I have not understand that after twice discussions with the customer care personnel why I am receiving such letter.

Kindly expedite the same and informed what to do in this matter.

I have a current account of my company with the name Clerisy Solutions Pvt Ltd with account number 18342020000015. I have personally deposited the salary of my employees on Saturday 7 October 2011 at 11:30 am to HDFC bank phase 2 Mohali branch (Punjab) and its not credited till 11 October 2011 to any employees account but my account has been debited on 7 October 2011. I am a defence person and holding an salary account (a/c no. 01061150004501) with your bank since 06 May 2005. I have requested for a credit card from your bank over phone number 022-30870613, however, I was surprised to know that I am not a eligible candidate for a HDFC credit card as they are not providing credit card to any defence personnel.

It is amazing that if a person, who can have faith in a bank for a period of six years, can not be trusted by that bank. A defecnce person can be trusted for security of the country, but not for issuing a credit card.

I applied for my credit card on 31 Aug 2011. I followed all the process as per your bank rules, i also give copy of my address and id proof documents, but till now i did not get my card. I have applied 1 month before, 15 days back i got a confirmation call that card will be delivered within 10 days, today 17 of September when I called customer care, they said card has been kept on hold, when I ask them the reason for holding customer care executive said, there is no reason for the hold. They have all information about me because my salary account is there with HDFC. why do they people collect the documents?When HDFC cant provide the service,
