I would like to know if I can start my trip from the departure country on previous day of my visa commencement date such that i reach my destination place exactly on the date my visa is valid from? Please reply as otherwise I would have to cancel my already booked tickets. For Eg: if my visa is valid from 11th of January, can i travel from my departure country on 10th of January as I would reach my destination only on 11th?

now I am travelling from Abu Dhabi to Kozhikode on 27th through ETIHAD.
Kindly tell us the hand baggage that we can carry is 7 kg. ( Is this can go up 10kg ? ).
