SBI Buddy classified under 2 categories

  1. Minimum KYC – Wallet
  2. Full KYC – Wallet

Minimum KYC – Wallet

In this service customer will get benifit by submitting minimum KYC detail to the bank

The minimum detail include

  1. Mobile number verified with OTP and self-declaration of name
  2. Unique Identification number such as Aadhar Card ,PAN , Voter Card,Indian Passport
    Driving License etc

This will Benifit you

  1. Can be used for merchant payments (Bill Payment/Recharges/Purchase of goods and services)
  2. Fund transfer to Bank account or any other wallets/PPIs is not allowed
  3. To be converted into a full KYC wallet within a period of 12 months from the date of registration,
    failing which no further credit shall be allowed in such wallets. However, the wallet holder shall be allowed
    to use the balance available in the wallet only for purchase of goods and services.
  4. At the time of wallet closure, the user is allowed to transfer the outstanding balance to his/her own account
    (only after the wallet is upgraded to Full KYC) or transfer the funds back to the source
    (from where the wallet is loaded).

Remember- When user will not submit their wallet with minimum KYC details to the bank will automatically converted to
"Minimum Detail Wallet" . No credit transactions will be allowed for such wallets.

Full KYC Wallet

In this service customer will get benifit by submitting full KYC detail to the bank

Process to update Full KYC is as mention below

  1. First, the user registers as per the process mentioned above for Minimum KYC wallet
  2. Post registration, the customer logs into the wallet, chooses to upgrade to Full KYC wallet and
    follows the procedure to complete the e-KYC on-boarding process.

This will Benifit you

  1. Can be used for merchant payments (Bill Payment/Recharges/Purchase of goods and services)
  2. Fund transfer to other KYC compliant accounts or any other Buddy wallet is allowed
  3. Add/Manage beneficiaries, set pre-defined limits for fund transfer to these beneficiaries
  4. At the time of wallet closure, the user is allowed to transfer the outstanding balance to his/her own Bank account, o
    ther PPIs or transfer the funds back to the source (from where the wallet is loaded).

Sir i am having problem with withdrawl of cash in city sausar at Gandhi chowk atm. In atm 4000₹ we're not withdarawl it was not providing cash. Please try to resolve this problem

I have call on both toll free no. Numerous time but they always disconnect the line without saying anything. I am calling for urgent as withdraw 5000 in atm and received only only 1000/ks. I will direct complaint to the best where I can. Customer services should not disconnect the line without any reason. I work in customer services as well and I know what I am doing. SIR,Iwas opened my sbi buddy account on dte 5 oct 2018..BY mistaking problem i was blocked my account...i have. Money on my wallet...but when i tried to unblock my acvount they say security amswer n question are not match...i dont know what to do...this is my first time by using sbi buddy...so i want to unblock my account...plizz help me

Buddy Account

I opened a SBI buddy account months back and transferred an amount of Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) to the account from my SBI account. Days after opening, when I tried to access the above buddy account, the home page did not open. I have been trying for several times but with no result. I tried to access the account by installing buddy in another cell phone, but I could not get the home page opened. Kindly assist me to solve the issue.

I'm user of SBI saving account..but from last 2.year. my account hv 0 blc..also I have all mod of banking like mobile , internet and SMS banking. But I cannot able to use these services. My adhaar is not linked..and now I have received a SMS ..in that SMS written that my check no. . is issued INR 1000 dishonerd..pls contact branch manager...I didn't get that mean...so pls tell me..my a/c no ..191682...in g.t shahadra Delhi branch
