Subject: Complaint Regarding Lack of Anesthesia During Colonoscopy and Endoscopy Procedures

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the recent experiences I had during colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures conducted at your esteemed institution. While I have always held AIIMS in high regard for its medical expertise and state-of-the-art facilities, my recent experiences have been distressing and have raised serious concerns about patient care and comfort during these procedures.

On 27 June 2024, I underwent a colonoscopy/endoscopy procedure at AIIMS. To my dismay, anesthesia was not administered during the test, which resulted in significant pain and discomfort. The absence of anesthesia made the procedure extremely challenging to endure and left me with a sense of anxiety and distress that continues to affect me.

It has come to my attention that many patients undergoing these procedures at AIIMS experience similar levels of pain. I have personally witnessed instances where patients, unable to bear the pain any longer, were not administered the procedure and were told to leave with their tests incomplete. This approach not only causes immense physical discomfort but also emotional distress as patients are left without a proper diagnosis or treatment plan.

Additionally, I would like to share another incident that highlights the severity of the issue. A fellow patient in the waiting area, who was visibly anxious about the procedure, expressed their fear and discomfort to the attending staff. Despite the patient's pleas for sedation, they were denied anesthesia and subsequently had to endure the procedure in great pain. The lack of empathy and proper pain management was deeply concerning and indicative of a larger systemic issue that needs to be addressed urgently.

It is well-documented that colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures can cause considerable discomfort, and the use of anesthesia or sedation is a standard practice in many medical institutions to ensure that patients undergo these procedures with minimal pain and stress. The lack of anesthesia not only compromises patient comfort but can also impact the overall quality of the procedure due to involuntary patient movements caused by pain.

I respectfully request an explanation for why anesthesia was not provided in my case and urge the administration to review and update the current practices to ensure that all patients receive the necessary sedation or anesthesia during such procedures. It is crucial for AIIMS to adhere to best practices and prioritize patient well-being.

Furthermore, I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate measures to prevent such occurrences in the future. I believe that addressing this issue will significantly enhance the patient experience and uphold the high standards of care that AIIMS is known for.

This is very painfull to inform you that very rude behaviour bus driver BABLU and the staff appointed in AIIMS jhajjar , Name Mohd Aqil is literally abusing with patient for complaining about bus driver dated on 03/07/2023 time about 5:00pm
The complaint is that bus driver name BABLU was leave from the AIIMS Jhajjar to AIIMS Delhi before time and the half of the seats in bus are empty and my patient left behind and for that when i went for complaining about the bus driver the supervisor literally behave very rudely and literally started absuing and very miss behave this all incident will be recorded and i attached this video in attached section

This is my humble duty to inform you for this will not happened to any other patient again

Issue with customer care numbers

Dear Sir,

Please update the new contact numbers for help as I tried to call on every number but could not reached. I don't think that for writing this story will impact on the service. I don't need your help, Almighty is enough for me but think to those people who are waiting in queue from 2:00 am to 9:00 am. Not all having number registered with aadhaar and if number is not registered with aadhaar than it means a patient having need to come in early hrs for an appointment. See i had booked my appointment at dental department also i got appointment in earlier but i seen many people who were mostly patients and they were in queue. For me it was intolerable. One more incident happen in dental dept. One patient was facing problem, he was suffered in vey pain and he asked for doctor to check me first but he replied harshly that wait outside. It was happened in 2nd floor 102 ward. " Made things easier to people or patients".

Hi. My father is a heart patient in CN Tower. He's been trying to sleep but it's impossible to do so with a huge fest or function inside campus. It is alarming that such noise levels are allowed inside AIIMS perimeter where so many patients are suffering. No numbers are reachable at late hour.
