On 11-August-2012, I tried to withdraw Rs. 35000 ( 20000 + 15000 in two attempts ) from SBI ATM (11 GRRC, Lucknow cant) which was debited from my account but was not dispensed but an error "TIME OUT" appeared.

Immediately I visited the SBI branch where my account is registered i.e. SBI sadar cantt Lucknow but I couldn't find the branch manager so they suggested to call Customer care. Which I did and registered two complaints for each tried transactions with ticket numbers AT11325856829 and AT11325941356 for amounts 15,000 and 20,000 respectively.

I was assured that money will be credited to my account within 7 days but no money was credited even after 10 days to till date. Moreover on visiting SBI bank again they told me the complain with ticket id AT11325941356 has been filed with wrong TXN number so I lodged another complain on 20-August-2012 with ticket id AT11325941356. They assured me that money will be credited to my account in 1 or 2 days but as far as complains are concern nothing has happened and is still pending.

Moreover without my consent complain id with ticket number AT11325856829 which I lodged on 12th of august was changed on 24th of august with complain no AT11326014390.I'm highly annoyed with this act.Instead of processing complain they are constantly giving me new complaint no. may be to keeping me away to apply RBI norms on Bank. It already has caused much loss to me :(

I am seriously offended with such failed support from SBI and the branch's staff is careless and ill behaved. I am here to contact you since I have no hope from local branch.

I would like the Banking Ombudsman to take strong actions against such losses to the users which have to bear just because of Bank's faults!!

I am forced to take strongest actions possible including filling RTI against SBI and those TRANSACTIONs. Quiting from SBI is now a demanding path for me if things like this keep going.

I hope you will hear me. With much hope from you, I am waiting to hear assurance of re-credit from SBI Sadar Cantt Lucknow.

akshay bhai...u made a mistake that day..u should have called some media reporter and would have given them a perfect masala news for that they would have done a magic for u they always hunt for these would easily resulted in those employees suspension from high authorities if that news would have telecasted on that can approach some news channels easily by calling them.....u can find their no. on by going to their website...or simply google it..

Refunding of over deducted amount


it is intimated that i have withdrawal an amount of Rs.4000/- through Green Chanel Counter vide Jornal No. 27584200 Installed at SBI Branch Sarahan Bushahr (HP),Bank Code No.2476. my.AC/No is 11395721419 . At the time of withdrawal ,Rs.8000/- has been deducted from my account instead of Rs.4000/-.

In this regard I have submitted the applications so many times and visited the branch from where the amount was withdrawal, but No any further action has been taken by the branch neither any suitable suggestion conveyed to me.

Therefore it is requested that for refunding of over deducted amount, necessary action may be taken / suitable guidance may be
communicated please.

I have to inform that I (Dilip Kumar) applied for SBI card (Platinum) form number B-0002725290 on date 30-6-2012. Till date I have not received the SBI card. Not getting Form no.16 from SBI branch code 03044

For your kind reference my FD A/c no.30603094254,product –TDR-PUB IND-2YL3-INR, bank has deducted Rs.3512/- & Rs.1762/- both on dt. 10.06.10 and Rs.4600/-deducted on dt.10.09.10 for they have not given me FORM 16A. secondly the bank has given me FORM 16A having no.59 dt.08.06.09 for Rs.908/- for year 2009-2010 and 149 dt31.01.11 for Rs.1638/-for year 2011-2012 both are not credited to Gov.account (as not showing in 26AS credit statement )on several personal verbal reminder to the branch incharge. How to Cancel the Payment Transaction

Hello Sir / Mam,

Please guide me how to cancel the payment transaction which is displaying since 10- 15 days on the home page of my Net banking. Actually i thought of making payment to one of the online shopping but because i forgot my profile password so i have canceled and made the payment in cash but now whenever i am opening my net banking to know the transactions the home page is asking to confirm the payment where as i have already made the payment in cash and i dont want to pay through net banking.

Please help me how to cancel that payment transaction so that the amount will not be deducted from my account.

Sir, I am using the online

I am using the online banking for the first time, so i dont have an idea that we should remember the profile password and tried to make a payment but because i dont remember the profile password i couldnot make the payment n i paid the same in cash.
But now my problem is that when i am logging in the sbh online then the page is showing to confirm the payment details for the same which i have cancelled.
I am scared that may be i am amount will be deducted and not able to operate anything.

Dear Sir,

I am Suneel Kumar , SBI account NO. 31497294561 and ATM Card No.6220180196100073572 on 19th may 2012 used this card at PNB ATM N4400700 ( Garh road Jagriti Vihar sec-5 ,HP petro Pump Meerut) for transaction Rs-10,000 txn#3374 to draw but due to some ATM problem payment not received but the same time Rs10,000 debited from my account which is not credited.
I locked my complaint to SBI Customer care My Compliant No.AT42924906100 and they ensured me that the same amount will be credited to your account by 7 working day but still no progress today again I called up to customer care then they replied talk to branch manager and send mail to you.
So my query is that why these problems are only in government banks? I have 2 more accounts HDFC and ICICI many times faced this kind of problem but the same day or within hours we got resolution. If this is what a nationalized bank promises to their Customers and provides such type of services to them, then its non –recommendable.

I requested you to refund my rs10000 as soon as possible.
Pls do the needul.

I am a native of Coimbatore. I am having savings bank account in R.S.Puram branch. Some time back I gave my mobile number to the bank for "sms alerts".

Now I receive sms alerts in my mobile for cheque transactions only. I am not getting sms alerts when I take money using ATM. If any one takes money from my account using ATM (somehow) I will not be aware of it. To avoid such fraudulent cases, it is utmost important "sms alerts" should reach the customer whenever money is taken from his account using ATM.

The bank staff and the branch manager are helpless and they are not able to rectify this technical flaw. Will you please do something to rectify this defect?

I am a resident of Coimbatore. I am having Savings Bank Account in Coimbatore, R.S.Puram Branch.

I had given my mobile number in the bank for sms alerts. But sms messages are received in my mobile only when

there is cheque transactions. But when there is ATM money withdrawals, sms alerts are not received by me. This is

very important to avoid any fraudulent ATM money withdrawals.

I had approached the staff of SBI and the branch manager in this regard. But they said they are helpless since

this is a technical matter. How can I receive sms alerts when I take money through ATM?

I am a resident of Coimbatore. I am having my Savings Bank account in Coimbatore, RS Puram Branch.
I have given my mobile number in that branch for sms alerts. I receive sms alerts only for cheque transations. Whenever I take money in ATM, I do not get any sms alerts. It should not be. Definitely we should get sms alerts whenever we take money from ATM. This will safe guard the customers from fraudulent money withdrawals.

Complain Regarding corruption and misbehavior with SBI Customer

I am Akshay Gupta an. It is very shocking and shameful news for SBI which I am going to tell you in below lines:-

Today Morning I visited SBI, Sec 12 , Noida for opening FD. My account is also in the same branch. I am stating complete incidence so that SBI authorities can take proper action .

I asked for FD opening form to person sitting on Middle seat because he was the responsible person to provide the form as I asked this thing from counter no 1. He did not listen to me. He was buzy with his personal work. There was huge queue because of Saturday. Then SBI security was listening from last 15 mins that I am asking only for form then he initiated and provide me the FD opening forms. Then I filled the form and again by queue I reached to that senior person who was handling FD opening process. I provide him a form and check book and my showed my identity proof(That is not required even). He asked me passbook I simply asked why you required my passbook. I am giving you check and form. Even I was ready to show him passbook. I was opening my passbook envelop but within 2 seconds he throw my form from counter. I asked him that why you are doing like that I am showing you the passbook. He used very harassed and hurting language that told me that I will not do your work. I again asked me why it is not possible he started his person work and told me that “I am doing my work please don’t disturb me” I again asked him that your work is doing customer solution. You cannot be engaged yourself in personal work. He told me “Mai kaam karte karte pagal ho gaya hun mai nahi karunga koi kaam tumhara” I asked him that I am waiting for this work from last 30 mins why you have not told me till now.

I asked him who is branch manager because BM cabin was empty. He did not answer then I asked same question with Cashiers he told me that Branch Manger is on leave and he is only working BM for today. I was really surprised how can any BM can handover his responsible seat to such irresponsible person.

Till this now , I was able to tolerate because I know these are old people they don’t know the smart work to hide only they are misbehaving customer to avoid the customer answers.

But now which I am going to state you , you will feel difficult to digest that how can Govt employee can do this

I already loosed my mood because of his misbehavior, I was continuously saying him that without my work I will not go. I want my work to be done. Now he shows me his real face. He told me in hindi ”Tumhari jitni aukaad ho tum apna kaam karakar dikha do sec-12 SBI branch se” I warned him that don’t use such type of language with customer then he told me I am branch manager today I will do whatever I wish. Then during argument one more SBI employee cum Gunda came and throw my all paasbook and check book and abused me in Hindi and told me “TUM SALON ki *********. Mai ******* kar dunga” Now I became frustrated and asked him to call Police. Police came there and enquired with public. Public told police that mistake was done by SBI employees only. They were using language in front of customers even ladies customer was present there also.

I front of police also he was abusing me in “HINDI GALIES” Then police warned him for same. Then he told to police also that “Iss salen ka kaam nahi hoga jisame jitna dam ho kara le” Police also requested them to do my work but answer was lady employee(Near to BM cabin) was that we will not do his work . Whatever he wants he can do. Then police suggested me to written complain of employee that they misbehavior and not doing their work. I have written complain and also got sign from general public as witness. But when I aksed to take that complain then that senior person answered me that we are not here to submit your complain go to sec -2 office. Again he added “Jitni aukaat ho tum sec -12 se kaam kara kar dikha do” At that time because of this psycho senior person police asked me to go to Sec-2. I asked him his name he told that I will not tell you. Whatever you can do it. I remind him that he is Govt employee and public has right to ask his name but answered public ki ************.

At end result was that they abused me by using hindi galies and and not did my work. I am requesting to make vigilance committee and talked these employees as “AAM ADMI” to see the real face and feel the same incidence because everybody was saying that they both peoples are doing same behavior with everyone.

I am requesting SBI authorities to take proper action against two person:- One who was sitting today at missdle counter (Also was today’s working operation manager because manger was on leave) nad second person who told me so many Hindi Galies and told me that don’t come to SBI again otherwise he will do something bad with me. Even SBI ayuthorities can come and call me I will come to sec-12 and recognize these 2 employees to make your action process smoother

Please do the proper action on these two employees for below concluded allegation:
1. Misbehavior with customer
2. Throwing passbook and checkbook (Very person to customer’s belonging)
3. Using HINDI GALIES during working hours(Even in front to ladies cutomer)
4. Hurting the customer and insult of public as well as customer
5. Not taking the customer’s complain
6. Not doing their work properly
7. Give the feeling to public that sec-12 SBI employee are Goudas and they will not for customer service.
8. Violation of SBI policies & providing very poor customer satisfaction and breaking key commitments done by SBI.
9. These employee should go through mental check up because normal Govt employee will never use such type of abusing languages
10. Not telling his name(Violation of RTI)
I believe that SBI has best polices to server us. So because of these two people SBI will not lose his faith on customers.
Please do the needful because of this incidence I am feeling that is my money is secure in sec-12 SBI branch?” Please take the proper action asap so that we can enjoy SBI services soon. Still I have not opened FD there because of my security problem because of these two senior persons.

I extend my sympathy with u for the sufferings you faced. No public dealing can be done in the way as it was done with u. You can take following action :-
(a) File a police complaint with details of the incident.
(b) Send a complaint to their head office. (Send this throught registered post)
Keep a carbon copy of the complaint. If no reply comes withiin 01 month, file an RTI for the answers. These staff are to teach the basic minimum courtesies.
